WORKPLACE SUPERVISORS EVIDENCE PORTFOLIO

OVERVIEW You are to prepare a training plan for your organisation to implement the Pigs in Space training program for your employees. This will be developed using the templates supplied and submitted at the end of the program as an evidence portfolio. To enable you to work together, there will be two Adobe Connect virtual classroom sessions during the program PART A Using templates 1, 2 and 3 as a guide, develop an organisational high-level plan for implementing the Pigs in Space training program at your workplace. Include in your plan, a statement of the objectives of the plan a list of all stakeholders who need to be informed and / or involved (eg Managers who need to be consulted about changes to work practices or, if using work area supervisors to deliver skills training on-the-job these should be listed as well) a description of organisational issues that need to be taken into consideration and how you may overcome those issues the names of the persons involved Start date and finish date A description of the different learning activities you are including in the plan direct face-to-face skill instruction, online learning activities using Moodle resources, assessment activities and mentoring sessions. Connect Present an overview of your enterprise learning plan to fellow students in this course Using Adobe Connect virtual meeting technology provided by your course facilitator Part B To complete this assessment task, you will need to: Using the material prepared in Part A, and additional template 4, prepare an individual learning plan for each employee who is enrolled in the Pigs in Space program. An individual learning plan will include Employee s name A description of the learner characteristics of the employee ( industry experience, educational background, individual learning style and preference, language, literacy and numeracy skills) i.e. specific learning objectives for each individual A timeframe for completing all the activities ( online learning, direct skill instruction, online learning, assessment activities and mentoring sessions)

Connect Prepare and present a report to your fellow students in this course detailing one of the individual learning plans you have developed Using Adobe Connect virtual meeting technology provided by your course facilitator Part C Prepare and submit a portfolio of evidence of your participation in the delivery of training, assessing students and conducting mentoring sessions with employees doing the Pigs in Space course. This should include; 1. Templates 1, 2 and 3 as an overview of the organisational plan 2. Evidence of working with three employees as your learners including; a. 3 x competed templates 4 and 5 to provide evidence that you have provided work skill instruction, undertaken assessment support and mentored your learners by planning, supporting and reviewing these activities. Your portfolio should be submitted with an itemised table of contents and a brief overview describing its contents. You must also include a review template 6 of the training program s effectiveness and offer suggestions for improvements in the overall course design and resources used in the Pigs in Space program.
