Mock exams are conducted throughout Year 10 and Year 11 to give teachers an understanding of where students need additional support. Homework help and advice available from:- After school revision sessions held by classroom teachers on Thursday evenings, 3pm-4pm. Students can attend Mrs Thompson s homework club for help Monday after school, 3pm-3.45pm or Thursday lunch time, 1.20pm-1.50pm. If they have access to the internet or one of the recommended revision guides, guide them to read over notes and test themselves. Alternatively, you can sit with them and test them on their learning or encourage them to make revision cards or mind-maps to help aid their learning. If your child is really needing help, ask them to speak to their teacher for further support. My child loves this subject what else can they do? Encourage your child to read further into the context of the key texts which will give them a deeper understanding of the narrative/plays. To aid with their English Language revision, students can develop their thinking around connotations of words.
