The integration feature allows users to import participant information from a learning management system into Turning Technologies software applications. Saved session data may then be exported into Moodle. Downloading a Participant List Users can import participant information from Moodle, such as user names and device IDs, into TurningPoint AnyWhere, TurningKey and ResultsManager through the Integrations option. Before You Begin Turning Technologies integration blocks must be installed prior to using the Moodle integration. Please consult the Moodle Administrator for your institution. An existing Moodle instructor account with a minimum of one open course is required. How to download a participant list from Moodle... 1 Open the Turning Technologies software application. 2 Select Integrations: In TurningPoint AnyWhere, click Participants, located on the launchpad. Select Import an LMS List. In TurningKey, click Window on the Mac menu bar and select LMS integrations. In ResultsManager, click New Course. Select Download a Participant List. 3 Select Moodle from the Management System drop-down menu and enter the Moodle server URL for your institution. Click Continue. Note The server URL is the web address found on your institution s main Moodle login page. 4 Enter your Moodle Username and Password. 6 Select the course(s) in which the participant list(s) is to be imported and click Continue. Tip Check Load imported participant list into current session if running a session after downloading the participant list. 7 Name the participant list and browse to the desired save location. The default save location is Documents\(Software Name)\Participants. Click Save. Using a Downloaded Participant List A participant list from Moodle can be loaded into TurningPoint AnyWhere or TurningKey to track participant results. In TurningPoint AnyWhere and TurningKey, if the downloaded participant list is stored in the default save location, it can be loaded by selecting the list from the Participant List drop-down menu. Alternatively, a participant list may be imported into any Turning Technologies software application. Exporting a Session to Moodle Sessions can be exported to Moodle through TurningPoint AnyWhere, TurningKey or Results Manager. How to export a session to Moodle... 1 Open the Turning Technologies software application. 2 Select Integrations: In TurningPoint AnyWhere, click Results, located on the launchpad. Select Export directly to LMS. In TurningKey, click Tools and select Integrations. In ResultsManager, select a column header and click Export. Select Export to LMS. 7 Select the session by selecting the Select Session icon. Place a check next to Add grades shown above to the gradebook under the Options section. Selected Session Window Selecting Exclude non-responders allows users to bypass adding participants who did not respond. Enter the name as it should appear in the gradebook in the New Item field. Users can assign a maximum value to the session by changing the Maximum Value field. Tip The Maximum Value reflects the amount of points participants must answer in order to receive full credit for the session. 8 Click Continue.
