Credit Recognition D-MAVT study programmes decide if credit transfer and recognition is possible. Credit and grade conversion will be done by the D-MAVT Student Exchange. Academic achievements abroad can be recognised at ETH only if there is an original transcript through the exchange formally approved by the D-MAVT Student Exchange. A semester project or a thesis work can be done at the partner university but needs to be registered at ETH, graded by a supervisor at ETH who is approved by the tutor. Thus, it won t be recognised as exchange. Students should contact the D-MAVT Student Exchange regarding credit recognition prior participation in summer schools organized by ETH. Achievements through a self-organized exchange can not be credited. D-MAVT Information Event on Exchange Programmes 02.11.2017 13
