I Introduction As the leading cross-asset, front-to-back office solution provider, Calypso is committed to ensuring that our clients realize the full value of their technology investment. We understand that our clients must be fully conversant in the Calypso solutions they use to perform their critical jobs functions. This year, Calypso is expanding the services of Calypso University to offer classroom training to educate clients and partners. Calypso University offers a public classroom training schedule open to all Calypso clients and partners. The goal is to provide participants with a hands-on learning experience in a state-of-the-art training environment. Our course content enables clients to align the current Calypso functionality with their workflows, business processes, and implementation requirements. Classroom training is delivered by dedicated, in-house, professional Calypso training staff. During this inaugural year, Calypso University is developing a baseline of 13 beginning and intermediate-level courses that span the functionality of the eight Calypso platform solutions. All courses are based on the Calypso v13 production release and follow the business standards configured in the Calypso Fast-Track database maintained by the Calypso Center of Excellence. Courses will be held in training centers in New York, London, and Singapore equipped to facilitate training for up to 16 participants per course. All participants will have their own Calypso University laptop to access a personal instance of Calypso and will receive a printed training manual and an exercise workbook. Participants who satisfactorily complete the final exam will be awarded a Calypso University course completion certificate. In this brochure, you can find the Calypso University Learning Map for 2012, course registration procedures, registration terms and conditions, and contact information.

II Learning Map The Calypso University Learning Map consists of defined educational tracks for the eight Calypso solutions. For each solution, participants can begin their learning experience by enrolling in the Calypso University elearning program and follow the learning tracks appropriate to the Calypso solution in which they wish to specialize. The modules of each elearning track provide a baseline Calypso knowledge foundation and serve as the prerequisites for enrolling in classroom courses. The Learning Map illustrated on the next page outlines the recommended elearning tracks and classroom courses for each Calypso solution. The classroom courses represented here are those completed or scheduled for production in 2012. The Learning Map for elearning and classroom training will continue to expand to support the addition of new Calypso solutions, new product functionality, and client demand.

Calypso Solutions Learning Modes Classroom Courses elearning Tracks

III The Calypso Learning Experience Calypso University classroom training courses lead participants through a set of learning modules. Each module is structured as a series of lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises delivered with the aim for participants to achieve clearly stated learning objectives. Standard to all Calypso University Courses Enrollment Prerequisites Extensive Training Manual Exercise Workbook Laptop to Access a Personal Instance of Calypso Final Exam Training Credits Toward Certification Enrollment Prerequisites Each course has prerequisites defined in terms of required business/capital Markets experience and Calypso University elearning courses that must be completed in lieu of demonstrated Calypso system experience. Completing elearning module prerequisites prior to course commencement allows those new or relatively new to Calypso to be at an equivalent knowledge level to those with prior system experience. Upon registering for a course, participants will be provided login credentials to access the recommended elearning modules. Training Manual User training manuals document the detailed Calypso and business context of each learning module, provide navigation instructions and list step-by-step guidance for the system configuration and usage described in the course. The manuals are also designed to serve as a lasting reference for on-going support of Calypso usage and configuration needs.

Exercise Workbook Each course module contains a set of exercises designed to reinforce the concepts of the module lessons. In addition, participants have the opportunity to gain experience navigating the system and completing complex processes in their own instance of Calypso. Laptop Participants are not required to provide their own laptops for the classroom courses in which they enroll. Each participant will be equipped in the classroom with a high-performance laptop configured to access the Calypso University cloud training environment. Laptops will be used during lectures to allow participants to navigate in the system along with the instructor, for group and individual exercises and for completing a final exam. Final Exam A final exam will be given in the classroom at the end of each course. Exams are designed to demonstrate a participant s level of comprehension and ability to apply the principles covered in the course. Participants must answer multiple-choice and short-answer questions and will be given business cases to complete in their personal instance of Calypso. Those participants satisfactorily completing the final exam will receive a Calypso University course completion certificate. Training Credits Participant grades and course completion certificates are awarded and recorded by Calypso University. Participants awarded a course completion certificate will earn training credits towards Calypso certification. The certification tiers and training credits structure of the Calypso certification program will be announced later in 2012.
