Intended outcome This group will provide opportunities to learn about and actively participate in the larger context of Graduate Medical Education within the State of Texas.

Outcomes Reached Ability to create ideas and opportunities to develop innovative learning environments as a Coordinator for career growth, advancement, and selfdevelopment. Ability to work in collaboration with GME offices and program leadership to locate resources on how to build relationships between the Coordinator community and Graduate Medical Education.

Leadership Beth Payne, MAEd, C-TAGME Division Administrator, Education and Training Manager, Academic Programs Department of Pediatrics - UTHSCSA

ACTION Leadership Purpose The role of Administrators and Coordinators in Graduate Medical Education, although varied by specialty, embodies that of a community of leaders and learners. In an effort to build a solid base of support and uniformity for all individuals who support Graduate Medical Education in the state of Texas, this group will offer a venue for professional development, networking, and team building among Texas based program Coordinators and Graduate Medical Education Administrators. The intended outcome is two-fold; first the annual meetings will allow for experiential learning and networking between coordinators and administrators, and second the group itself will allow for a new bridge to be built between communities of coordinators all working under the same national and state policies and procedures.
