Approval of debt service wire transfer in the amount of $817,499.25. 4. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:23-2.12(d), I, Edward W. Luick, Board Secretary, certify that as of January 31 2002, no budgetary line item account has obligations and payments (contracted orders) which in total exceed the amount appropriated by the District Board of Education pursuant to N.J.S.A.18A:22-8 and 18A:22-8.l. That the District financial accounts have been reconciled and are in balance. EDWARD W. LUICK FEBRUARY 28, 2002 SECRETARY DATE BOARD Board Resolution Through the adoption of this resolution, we, the Lakewood Board of Education, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:23-2.12(e), certify that as of January 31, 2002, after review PAGE 3 of the Secretary s monthly financial report (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the Business Administrator and other appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge no major account or fund has been overexpended in violation of N.J.A.C.6:23-2.12(B) and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year. 5. Acceptance of the Treasurer s and Secretary Reports for January 2002. The Treasurer of School Funds and the Board Secretary reports are in balance for the cash receipts and disbursements for the month of January 2002. 6. BUSINESS ITEMS The Business Administrator recommends the following: Payment of Food Service Bills in the amount of $132,463.69. B. SUPERINTENDENT S ITEMS 1. Approval: Of out of district placement for school year 2001-2002 for the following: t MCI student 181 P to ARC as recommended by Child Study Team s Individual Education Plan (IEP). Tuition not to exceed $5,400.00. Approval: Of extended school year (summer 2002) for autistic student 1 SEY to attend Camp Jaycee as recommended by Child Study Team s IEP. Tuition to be paid by Lakewood = $1,900 plus $200 travel reimbursement, plus $75.00 reimbursement of deposit to parent. Although tuition is more than stated above, the Division of Developmental Disabilities will pay the remaining portion of tuition. 3. Approval: Of the Local Professional Development Plan for 2001-2002 as developed by the Local Professional Development Committee and approved by Mrs. Lucille Rielly, Ocean County Superintendent of Schools. 4. Approval: Of Resolution to Apply for and accept the Local Capacity Building and Improvement Project for Special Education Least Restrictive Environment in the amount of $250,000 for the period July 1, 2002 to September 30, 2003. (Attachment A) 5. Approval: To cancel the March 13, 2002, half day inservice and approve a half day inservice on April 17, 2002. C.
