Q. What is the Projects stated mission? A. The Digital Education Projects mission is to raise funds to provide FREE Interactive Multimedia Digital Education Technology Schoolbooks and Reading, Studying, Teaching, and Learning Materials to all our Nation s schools, librarians, teachers, students, and parents; and, to provide all students the opportunity to acquire Free Personal Computers, through its National Digital Schoolbook Library Program. Q. What is the Unique Significance of a Donation to the Digital Education Project? A. Donors are approached every day by many worthy charities and foundations for many worthy causes. The education of our children is the most important challenge in the nation today, affecting every aspect of society. Imagine how many social, economic, environmental, health, and hunger problems we could solve, which are handicapping the growth of the nation, if we could radically improve the education of our young citizens. The students we help save today are tomorrow s citizens, who will improve our society in many ways, and make our world a better place to live. With revolutionary new digital education technologies now available to all our Nation s students, the need for many of these other charities could be eliminated. Q. How will your Donation to the Digital Education Project be used? A. Prior to the activation of the full Program, the Digital Education Project, a 501(c)(3) Non- Profit Foundation, will require initial funding donations from the private and corporate sector. Your donation will support the completion and activation of the National Digital Schoolbook Library (NDSLP), by facilitating: o The population of the NDSLP with the thousands of digital materials acquired over the past 9 years, which need to be categorized and upgraded to the revolutionary new Interactive Multimedia Digital Education Technology Schoolbooks (IMDETS). o The acquisition of new materials; and, the design, development, and production of advanced and exciting original Interactive Multimedia Digital Textbooks, Readers, Workbooks, Reference Materials, Teaching Aids and Materials. o Development and Production of Pre-K-12 Math Textbook and Workbook Chapter Module Series. o Development and Production of Pre-K-12 Science Textbooks and Workbooks Chapter Module Series in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical and Computer Sciences. o Development and Production of K-12 Health and the Human Body Science Series.

o Acquisition of Publishing Rights for specific necessary paper textbooks, readers, workbooks, and reference materials, for conversion to the FREE IMDETS technology. o Organization and Addition of the Commercial Publishing Industry Digital Booklist Catalogs to the NDSLP. o Initiation of a nationwide promotion of the National Digital Schoolbook Library Program. Q. What is the DIGITAL EDUCATION PROJECT DONOR FUNDING PROGRAM? A. The DIGITAL EDUCATION PROJECT DONOR FUNDING PROGRAM welcomes all Corporate and Private Donations to the largest and most important program in the history of education. You have the opportunity to significantly change the future of our schools, our children, and the nation! Please join us now with a donation; AND, by sharing our link on your social media, your Facebook page, Twitter, Tumbler, and wherever you interact with the world. The Project needs the help of every American citizen. Our ongoing funding campaign supports the acquisition, development, and production of Interactive, Multimedia Digital Schoolbooks, as well as the upgrade of current paper and PDF books to 21 st Century interactive, multimedia, digital technology, to be provided FREE through the NATIONAL DIGITAL SCHOOLBOOK LIBRARY PROGRAM. REMEMBER DIGITAL SCHOOLBOOKS ARE FOREVER! They never wear out! Once a single digital book is produced, it can be accessed and owned AT NO COST by every school, teacher, student, and parent in the nation from the NDSLP with the push of a button. If changes need to be made or, if it is lost, a digital book can be updated or replaced at any time, also at no cost to the owner with just the click of a button. The billions of dollars saved by each state through this FREE DIGITAL SCHOOLBOOK PROGRAM will allow our schools to purchase many additional commercially published digital books through the NDSLP at greatly reduced costs over paper books; and, to acquire personal computers for every student in need, so that all our nation s students can take full advantage of the many benefits of a digital technology education. A SIGNIFICANT DONATION to the Foundation to produce individual or multiple digital books will be immortalized on the cover page of each book, and will be a perpetual reminder of your generous contribution to the education and future of millions of students, today and for many generations to come.

Q. Does the Free Digital Schoolbook Program compromise the nation s commercial schoolbook publishing company s ability to sell their product to our schools? A. Absolutely Not! In fact, it will increase the profits for commercial publishers. First, it takes many thousands of different types of schoolbooks to support our nation s academic needs. The NDSLP could never supply all these titles. The NDSLP Free Textbooks, Chapter Modules, Readers, and Workbooks will allow our schools to provide Free Personal Computers to all students in need. If every student has a computer, then the commercial publishers can begin to supply digital schoolbooks instead of paper schoolbooks to all our schools. Since digital schoolbook cost much less to produce, they can sell them at a greatly reduced cost over paper books, while making a higher profit margin on these books. Everybody wins! Q. The Digital Education Project claims to be the largest and most important Program in the history of education. Another Indiegogo Fundraising Project, Code.org, also has made a similar claim. Response? A. Code.org, An Hour of Coding for Every Student, is an incredibly important Program, as well! It is bringing awareness to all Americans, and other countries as well, of the deficiencies in our modern education systems. It is also introducing long overdue subjects about computers, coding, and programming, to our nation s schools, teachers, students, and parents. The Digital Education Project, National Digital Schoolbook Library Program, is focusing on a much larger picture, and solving both the lack of personal computers for every student, and the comprehensive use of Interactive Multimedia Digital Education Technology Schoolbooks in all academic disciplines throughout the nation s vast education system. Together, we will change the world! Q. Does the Digital Education Project consult with institutions of higher learning on the content of the digital materials it produces and publishes? A. The Digital Education Project researches and consults with institutions across the country, to acquire the most qualified teachers and professors to contribute the most advanced, accurate, and current knowledge and techniques to produce our Digital Schoolbooks. The Project also maintains a close affiliation and working relationship with the University of Central Florida, College of Education. During our long association, the College has consulted on all aspects in the research and development of multiple digital reading platforms, including the compilation and analysis of the significant university research data available on the advantages of multisensory audio and visual reading for increasing fluency, reading comprehension, reading readiness, and prosody. Additionally, the College consults and assists in the determination of textbooks, readers, workbooks, and reference books and materials currently approved for state school programs, as well as, approval and analysis of materials, data, content, and presentation to be used in the digital conversion of existing books, and the writing and production of new digital textbooks, readers, workbooks, and reference books and materials.

The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a major metropolitan research university whose mission is to deliver a comprehensive program of teaching, research, and service. The University serves students who are diverse in age, ethnic and racial identity, and socioeconomic background. The UCF College of Education s departments, Instructional Programs and Educational Leadership, Educational Foundations, and Human Services and Wellness offer 11 Baccalaureate, 16 Master s, 3 Specialist, 2 Ed.D., and 3 Ph.D. Programs. See http://www.edcollege.ucf.edu/. Q. Q. What is the History and Background of the Digital Education Project and NDSLP? A. The History and Background of DEP and NDSLP: (2001-2004) Design and development of the patented Interactive, Multimedia, Digital Book software for both general reading and education. (2004-2007) Design, development, and production of Interactive, Multimedia Digital Textbooks and Readers (A/V Books) for testing in the nation s school systems. The NDSLP first introduced its patented 21 st Century Interactive, Multimedia, Digital, Schoolbooks into the Florida education system in 2007. These A/V Digital Textbooks and Readers were FREE to all Florida schools, teachers, students, and parents. (2007 2010) School Systems Research and Analysis Visitation Program. The entire Digital Education Project team, individually and in pairs, traveled to 36 US states and the District of Columbia over a three-year period, and visited various school districts in each state. The visitations were randomly picked, using a variety of criteria: including, but not limited to, school sizes, district size, socioeconomic levels, tax base and structure; and school, district, and state administrations. Of primary concerns were the observations of any and all technologies used by students, teachers, and administrations (such as, computers, software teaching tools and aids, school digital networks, etc.) Special attention was paid to the particular types of math, science, and language programs that were used, in both traditional textbook and digital formats. The goal of our research and analysis phase was to determine the most efficient and effective ways to solve both the academic and economic problems degrading our nation s education system. (2009 2012) Development of the National Digital Schoolbook Library website, and maintenance program, and design and update of the patented software that would create and produce original interactive, multimedia digital textbooks, workbooks, readers, teaching aids, tools, and materials, and reference books for the NDSLP. Additional patented software was also created that would allow for the conversion of existing paper schoolbook materials into a digital format for the NDSLP. A software program was also created to manage these and other digital formatted materials within the National Digital Schoolbook Library Program. (October 10, 2013) Digital Education Project incorporated in the State of Delaware with offices in Maryland, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and California. (2007 Present) The acquisition and digital update of both free and commercially published digital schoolbooks; and the design, development, and production of new and original FREE digital schoolbooks, workbooks, chapter modules, teaching materials and aids, reference materials, for inclusion in the comprehensive National Digital Schoolbook Library. (March 2, 2015) National Digital Schoolbook Library Program incorporated. (February 23, 2016) DIGITAL EDUCATION PROJECT, INC. granted, Recognition of Exemption 501(c)(3) Non- Profit Organization status, by the IRS. Q.
