Information about Kerala State- Kerala has the highest literacy rate in India 93.91%, It has 14 Districts, Kerala is majorly divided in 3 parts geographically and segmented in a group of 3 districts. The Malabar districts are Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, and Malapuram; The Cochin, central Kerala districts are Palakad, Thrissur, and Ernakulam; and Travancore, South Kerala Districts are Thiruvanathapuram, Kollam, Allapuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki. We have selected 3 cities Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin and Kozhikode from each part of Kerala respectively. Reason for selecting these 3 cities is high literacy level and their geographic location in the state. Cochin/Ernakulam- is located in the centre of the state and there are many educational institutes in Ernakulam many of them are government institutes which adds up to the population density. Ernakulam was the first district in Kerala to reach 100% literacy level. Thiruvanathapuram- Is at the extreme corner of the state which makes it a very attractive and strategic point, it is a major educational hub withnuniversity of Kerala,located at Thiruvanathapuram with 15 engineering colleges, 3 Medical colleges, 4 international colleges,30 professional colleges and 38 vocational training institutes. Kozhikode- Kozhikode is just like financial capital of Kerala it has 2 most respected institutes of India NIT and IIM and 2 Government medical colleges. Many students from various parts of India travel to Kozhikode which makes it prime education destination.
