Login Log onto the Learning Management System (LMS) by clicking on the desktop icon or using the following URL: https://lakehealth.csod.com Pop-up blockers must be turned off. Initial user name is the employee ID; the password is Password1; staff can change their own password by answering two security questions set up on initial login. User can click on Forgot Password? located on the login screen if they forget their password or wish to change it. If you do not remember your password after two tries, then reset your password. After three unsuccessful attempts, you will be locked out for 1 hour. You will need to answer two security questions. At initial log in, click on My Account in the upper right corner of your screen. 1. From this screen you can edit your security questions and change your password. 2. Set the Time Zone for Eastern Time. 3. Select a signature font. 4. Click Save. 1. Tabs or pages. 2. Browse for training. 3. On-line Help. 4. Your Inbox; view transcript, announcements 5. Search for Training Learning Objects can be either a CBL or an instructor led class. Your Transcript is your To Do list as well as your transcript. 1. If you know the name of the Learning Object (LO) you can use the search field in the extreme upper right corner. 2. If you know the subject, in the Browse for Training area click on the Subject. 3. If you want to narrow your search, click the title Browse for Training, or from your Learning menu select Browse for Training. 4. Click Go to Search to find a particular topic or LO. This is located under the Browse for Training area. 5. To see a listing of all LO, click Search. To narrow your search, enter the title (or part of it), select the subject, or use any of the other fields displayed. Then click Search. 6. Clicking on the LO title will give you the details about the course. If you are allowed, you will see a Request button in the lower right corner. Select Request if you want to add this course to your transcript. If you are a manager or instructor, you will have the ability to Assign the course to another person. 7. Another option you have to search for classes is from your Learning menu, select Events Calendar. If you know the date of the event, locate the date, and click on the event name. You have the option of viewing the details or requesting it. If you are a manager or instructor, you will have the ability to Assign the course to another person. 8. To view just your events in the Event Calendar, click My Events located in the upper right corner of the calendar. 9. Use your Events Calendar to search for sessions you have previously requested. On the left side of the calendar are filters you can use to narrow your search. Waitlist When you request to be enrolled in a session and there are no available seats, you may be offered to be put on a Waitlist. You will see this option only after you click on Request when searching for a class. If you do not want to be placed on the Waitlist, decline the offer when prompted. Click yes if you do want to be on the Waitlist. You will be notified via email if a seat opens up. 3

Viewing and Printing your Transcript Your personalized transcript is where you can register, launch, select, withdraw and complete training. You will also be able to see courses that were assigned to you by your manager. From the Home Inbox, click on View Transcript. You will be able to see Active, Completed and Archived transcripts. These tabs are located at the top of your transcript. Learning Objects that require pre- or post-work will not be marked as Completed until the pre- or post-work has been completed. To print your transcript, click the print icon in the upper right corner of your transcript screen. If you wish to only print certain parts of your transcript, click the Transcript Report icon next to the print icon, and select your filters. You can filter results by training start date, training end date, or training type. Clicking the event name will display the details of that event. Transcript Status and Options When you register for a class, you see the status as Registered. If it is an on line course, you will also see Launch under the Options column. Click Launch when you are ready to take the course. Once the course has been completed, you will click Mark Complete, at which time the test (if applicable) will become available. Register for a Session 1. Open your Transcript. 2. Locate the event and under Options, click Register. If there are different sessions to choose make sure you select the correct session. a. If the word None is listed under options, then this is not an event you may register for. In this case the status will be Denied. 3. For an instructor led class, once registered, you will see Withdraw in the Options column. a. If permission is given to withdraw, click Withdraw under Options. b. Select a reason, enter comments if necessary. Click Submit. 4. For an instructor led class, the status is changed to Registered until you attend the class and then will be marked Completed. 5. For a CBL, once registered, you will see Launch in the Options column. 4

Add Required Training Training that had been assigned to you will be on your transcript under Required Training Not In Transcript heading. Click on the title of the training to view the details. Then click the Add to Transcript link to add to your active transcript. Course Completion Once an instructor has marked your classroom attendance as completed, if there is a test associated with the course it will be listed on your transcript. At the end of the class, you will be instructed to go to your transcript, locate the course and under Options, you will click Manage, and on the next screen under options click Activate, and then click Launch Test. If this was a CBL, once you have read the material, you will click Mark Complete under Options, then click Manage. After completing the test, click the icon for Summary. Make sure you answered all the questions, then click Submit your final answers. If you passed the test, the test shows as post work, and the class shows as complete. If you need to Save/Return Later the LMS will save the questions you have already answered. Access the test as you did the previous time. If you failed the test, retake it, accessing it as you did the previous time. Except this time instead of Activate, you will click Retake. If you need to review the CBL again, just click the link to Launch it. You cannot take a test for an instructor led class that had not yet been marked as Complete by the instructor. When you complete a CBL that is a.pdf, you need to electronically sign off that you have read the material. In the Status column, you will see Pending Completion Signature. Click this link to electronically sign. Click on the Completed tab to view courses that are in a Completed status. If a course does not show complete click on the course title. In the Details section, click Mark Complete and electronically sign. Archiving Learning Events When your Completed list becomes too large with completed events, you may want to Archive some of the older sessions. This will free up space on your Completed tab. To archive a learning event, from your Completed list of events, click on an event name. In the Training Details screen click on Move to Archived Transcripts link. Training can be made Active again or moved back to the Completed tab by clicking on the Training Title and then on the Activate button. 5
