Brett M. Agenbroad P. O. Box 777, Poulsbo WA, 98370, Ph.# 360-536-0470 agenbroadbrett@gmail.com Summary of Qualifications For the past fourteen years I have held the top leadership position as the of Schools in four different public school districts from Arizona to Alaska. As the district I am responsible for the entire educational program from Learning and Instruction through Budget Development, Human Resource Management, Plant Management and Public Relations. My district experience has ranged from small to large school districts and from remote rural Alaskan school districts with student populations in the hundreds to a midsized urban school district with an enrollment of over six thousand students and a faculty and staff of a thousand individuals. Budget development and oversight in difficult financial times has been a fundamental responsibility of the position between 2008-2013. Over the past fifteen years I have development and managed district budgets ranging from $1.5 to $65 million dollars. As the instructional leader of a district, a primary focus of my administration has been coordinating the efforts of the districts leadership teams to assure that our efforts were uniformly focused on ensuring that all students received a high quality, standards and best practice based public education. For the past ten years the alignment of classroom and district curriculum with state and federal academic standards has required a significant investment in professional development time to assuring that all faculty and instructional staff were teaching the curriculum and consistently employing identifiable research based best practices in their classroom instruction. To date two schools under my administration have received National Blue Ribbon Schools status. As superintendent I serve as an informed and experienced educational advisor to the Governing Board on educational and operational matters. I have completed a Doctoral program in organizational leadership. I am currently working through the dissertation process. I am experienced in the role of Public Information Officer and liaison between the district and local, regional and legislative stakeholders. I have initiated many innovative and effective student programs over the years, in addition to bringing in millions of dollars of block and competitive grant funds in support of educational programs.
