Development and delivery of the ICT Training schedule 2. Development of Online Training Resources 3. Managing and organising Third-Party Training as required This role develops and manages the yearly training schedule to ensure the current training needs of the organization are met, and delivered in formats to support the various learning styles and end user abilities. Minimum Two years of experience in Presentation & Adult Learning skills in a similar position carrying out the following tasks: Course/program writing Presenting ICT Adult Learning Programs to non-technical staff Developing and monitoring Yearly training schedule Liaising with third-party vendors (Vendor Knowledge) 2. Minimum Two years of experience in the following technologies and skills: Video Conferencing software & collaboration Creation of multimedia training resources Web content delivery 3. Develop User Guidelines and facilitate User education by running training sessions for new systems/applications that have been implemented. Contributes to and promotes a shared understanding of what it means to be Catholic and the mission and purpose of Catholic schooling Develop and plan the yearly training schedule for the organisation To ensure existing SCS staff are provided with ongoing training opportunities in the core Knowledge Management applications in the SCS Sydney Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Facilitate training by offering a wide range of instructor-led courses to cater from the beginner to advanced user across all SCS Teams and Regional Offices To ensure all SCS staff are provided with opportunities to attend training on the core Knowledge Management applications, as well as the opportunity to attend useful training sessions that focus on activities that target common day-to-day tasks. Facilitate training by offering a wide range of online courses for SCS staff To ensure staff are provided with opportunities to take advantage of a variety of relevant, online training to enable staff to learn at their own pace, minimising time away from work. Develop course/program training resources and materials utilising multi-media resources and short PDF videos targeting specific tasks. To support the various styles of learning, provide short, focussed video tutorials, catering for the range of end users skills and abilities. Develop multimedia induction materials for new staff - focusing on ICT To ensure new SCS staff are provided with training in the core applications within the Knowledge Management system so that new staff are able to perform routine tasks effectively. Maintain the Training Portal, publish course & registration information and maintain the currency of information. 4
Key Relationship Management To ensure SCS staff have current information on courses available, and how to enrol with easy access to course material, FAQs, and multi-media resources.. To ensure that there is consistency with training resources provided to the organisation and that the best practice for adult training is incorporated into project training resources. Managing and organising Third-Party Training When required, the Adult Trainer Facilitator will liaise with and organise third-party training for specific software, training needs where the required expertise, or facilitating the scope of the training required cannot be achieved with internal resources. Work with Project Managers to develop a training plan and multi-media training resources for projects that require training across the organisation Evidence / Expected Outcomes Production of the Annual Training Plan and Schedule published on the Training Portal Maintaining the currency of the Annual Training Plan and Schedule on the Training Portal Execution and achievement of the Annual Training Plan and Schedule by facilitating training sessions and provision of attendance reports Attainment of a consistent level of positive feedback on facilitation, course content and relevance through use of the mandatory Post Course Survey Production of evidence of effectiveness of training courses provided by monthly report on attendance and feedback to Team Leader: Projects Production of fortnightly report to Team Leader: Projects on activities for current and next reporting period, project work or issues. Significant Duties 1. Travel Requirements Main work site is at SCS Leichhardt head office, ICT Team Regular travel is required to the 3 Regional Offices (Daceyville, Revesby & Lidcombe) to facilitate training 2. Training Audience One-on-one training is expected to be provided as required Training rooms across the organization can accommodate approximately 20 laptops and up to 40 attendees per session 3. Presentations & Public Speaking This role is often required to present at various SCS Leichhardt Staff Days, Team Days, and major staff events Group size can range from 2-3 people to 150-300 staff 5
