ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACADEMIC BRIDGE PROGRAM (ELAB) ELAB is an academic bridge program designed for students with a first language other than English. SANDEEP GIRI 04 INDIA ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY MANUFACTURING AT GOOGLE [X] Sandeep works in the Google [X] laboratory focusing on moonshot projects like self-driving cars and Google Glass. He is currently working on Project Loon developing balloon-powered internet service. As a Coe student, Sandeep published five papers through the Coe Physics Department and presented at over a dozen conferences. He attended Stanford University on a fully funded fellowship pursuing a master s in material science. LIBERAL ARTS ROCKS! EVEN THOUGH I WAS A BUSINESS MAJOR I HAD THE CHANCE TO TAKE CLASSES IN DIFFERENT FIELDS (HISTORY, COMMUNICATION, FILM, GUITAR, ETC.) DURING MY TIME AT COE. THESE DIVERSE EXPERIENCES REALLY PREPARED ME FOR THE REAL WORLD. MY NGUYEN VIETNAM THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY OF MY EXPERIENCES HERE AT COE THAT DIFFER FROM MY FRIENDS WHO ATTEND LARGER UNIVERSITIES IN THE UNITED STATES. I WAS ABLE TO BE INVOLVED AND IT WAS EASIER FOR ME TO MAKE AMERICAN FRIENDS AT COE.
