This system was designed especially for and by Kentucky educators to meet the needs of teachers, administrators, technology coordinators, and other instructional personnel. Free access is limited to personnel in Kentucky school systems. what is this system about? Need proven instructional strategies to use in the classroom? This web-based system helps Kentucky instructional providers locate and implement strategies for students experiencing learning challenges. The CCITL web system gives teachers quick and easy access to numerous classroom interventions and instructional strategies that help students learn and teachers teach. 1 Want one-to-one assistance? The ADVISORS area provides individualized assistance. Submit a request. Your request initiates a conversation with an advisor who has experience related to your specific situation. Continue the confidential dialog until you are both satisfied that the suggestions are working. 2 Need a learning strategy? Browse or search the STRATEGY CENTER to select and implement evidence-based techniques and programs in content areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics as well as study skills and behavioral interventions. Each strategy includes step-by-step instructions to make implementation easy. Links to addditional resources provide all you need to know to get going quickly with a practical solution. Want literature sources? Browse or search the LIBRARY for a wide-range of publications (articles, books, technical reports, web sites, etc.) related to CCITL learning strategies. Guided Tour: Advisors advisors The Advisors component of the system is designed to provide instructional providers with access to individualized advice from highly qualified online advisors about the selection and implementation of strategies and commercial programs related to their unique situation. 1 Entry Page Select from three options on this page. You can Make a Request to ask for help on a given issue, or you can access the Advisee Handbook to get help on using this area. The third option Tracking Cases allows you to follow the progress of your case from requesting help from an advisor, to the communications that follow, to the successful resolution of your request. 2 Advisor Request Form If you make a request, you have three different options for giving more specific information about your situation. You can fill out an individual, group, or class request form.
