To study the various strategies of interaction through the mobile devices with the user on the move. Programme Coordinator: Prof. Dharam Parkash 13.02 Study of Status & Perceptions of Stake Holders of School Education Programmes Telecast on Gyan Darshan Channel. : To study process of planning and monitoring of educational media programmes telecast on the channel. To obtain information on receiving network i.e. cable operators, television sets and viewing conditions in the schools across the country. To study nature and extent of educational television programmes telecast and utilized. To obtain perceptions of students, teachers and parents reg. their relevance and usefulness. To provide suggestions for improvement of the system at various levels keeping in view findings of the study. Programme Coordinator: Prof. R.L. Softwares for Computer Literacy and Computer Aided Learning. Utilization of computers in: e. School Management - admissions, preparation of timetable, accounts, examination etc. f. To develop transmission strategies and schedules, for preparation of capsules and their telecast programmes including telecast from CIET premises. To make available programmes for dissemination through the non-broadcast mode. Khattar 13.06 Development of Audio/Video Scripts in Different Curricular Areas and on NCF-2005 : To develop audio/video scripts in different curricular areas including all school subjects for students and teachers. to develop learning package based on the blue print. to validate the learning package to utilise the learning package in training workshops through video conferencing/face-to-face focused on development of research skills, preparing research design and research proposals on media research and evaluation. to promote media research and evaluation in ET of DIET's of North Eastern States. 13.20 National Seminar on Educational Technology Type: Extension to organize a National Seminar on Educational Technology to share experiences in educational uses of technologies. Programme Coordinator: Prof. Utpal Mallik 13.21 CIET-SIETs Coordination Type: Extension to identify, discuss and sort out academic, technical and administrative problems of the SIETs. to establish mechanisms for continuous dialogues for enhancement in number and production of improved media programmes. to promote exchange of ideas, research studies and products for increased and effective intervention in the classroom instruction process. to extend academic and technical support in planning and implementation of educational technology programmes through participation in their Programme Advisory and Governing Body Meetings/ to preview educational audio and video programmes of the SIETs and CIET to provide feedback for quality improvement. Programme Coordinator: Prof. Utpal Mallik 13.22 A Study of the Effectiveness of ET Based Teaching Learning Materials in Tribal Primary Schools to study the work done on educational technology based learning materials developed for primary schools in tribal & rural areas of other states. to analyse the syllabus of all the subjects taught upto primary stage of Madhya Pradesh to identify topics where ET inputs is required. to develop ET based teaching learning materials for primary schools in tribal areas. to validate TLM by a group of experts in educational technology to develop teachers manual to help in effective use of TLM in the classroom. to get the feed back from students & teachers about the quality of educational technology resource materials to study the effectiveness of TLM on Primary school learners in tribal areas. Programme Coordinator: Prof. Manjula Mathur 13.23 An Evaluative study of the Process of Design & Production of Educational Media Programmes and their Effectiveness in students Learning. : The present study will be undertaken with the following objectives; to undertake qualitative analysis of media scripts from the view point of objectives, format, content organization, adequacy of content duration language etc. to identify the strength and weakness of the educational media script and corresponding programmes.

To study the students and teachers perception about the quality of educational media programmes To assess the effects of media programmes on students learning achievement. To suggest appropriate measures for the qualitative improvement of educational media programmes and their process of production. To develop and facilitate a network of interested individuals and institutions.
