IV International Congress On Experimental Archaeology (Burgos -Spain) Experimenta (the Spanish Experimental Archaeology Association) is a non-profit association created, among other proposes, to organise international experimental archaeology conferences. Previous conferences were successively held in Santander- Cantabria (2005), Ronda- Granada (2008) and Banyoles-Girona (2011). The 2014 conference will be 8-11 May 2014, in Burgos, Spain, in the Museo de la Evolución Humana and Espacio Cultural Sierra de Atapuerca. 1 st CALL FOR PAPERS The organisers call for papers, deadline 16 March 2014. Proposals must be sent to congexperimentalarchaeology@gmail.com. There are three types of papers one can hand in: lectures, posters and experimental collections. To participate in the conference in any of these modalities (media, posters and collections) at least one author needs to register and pay the required fees. Lectures Lectures should be maximum 10 minutes long and are preferred to be in English although Spanish and French are also accepted. The Powerpoint, slides or Prezi should either be in English only or in English and Spanish. Your proposal should include the title of the lecture, the authors and their affiliation and a summary in Spanish or English 300 words. Posters The poster session will be on Thursday, 8 May, 18:30h to 20:30h. Every poster requires at least one of the authors to be present and discuss its contents with the conference participants. Posters are accepted in Spanish, English and French and should measure A1 size, vertical format (841 wide x 594 high), resolution JPG / TIF format 300dpi. Your proposal should include the title of the poster, the authors and their affiliation and a summary in Spanish or English of maximum 300 words. Experimental collections The experimental meeting session is like live posters and will be on Thursday, 8 May, 18:30h - 20:30h. Every theme requires one of the authors to be present and discuss its contents with the conference participants. Your proposal should include the title of the experimental meeting, the authors and their affiliation and a summary in Spanish or English of 300 words. One general result of the photo collection, 5 photos of detailed results of the collection and 5 photos of the experiment. Each photo should be titled and numbered.
