Forum Activities Organized the following events during Aarohan 14 held on 30 th & 31 st October, : Quantum Quest (Laser Tag) - This event was a great success with a participation of 65 teams with each team consisting of 3 students. The concept of this game attracted many school children, who were engrossed in this gaming event. They were introduced to the fun world of electronics. Many students showcased an urge to learn about the circuits and its working principle. We received positive feedback, with wishes for even more next year. The event was well organized and proceeded systematically by the efforts put on by ECIF and SANKHYA. Twisters - This even saw 51 teams (juniors and seniors), with a maximum of 3 students per team participating in the first round of this fun, yet informative event. The participants were expected to move forward through the tiles numbered from 1 to 30 by correctly answering the questions corresponding to the tile numbers within the given time limit. The students performed well despite the music and simultaneous game-play that was designed to distract them. Out of the 51 teams, 6 teams, 3 from each category were selected on the basis of accuracy and time-taken to answer the questions. The teams were allowed to compete with stricter rules such as negative evaluation and tougher time constraints in their own respective categories. Out of the three teams in each category, the team with highest accuracy and the highest number of tiles conquered was pronounced winner and the second best team was awarded the runners up. The students from NPS, Koramangala, Bengaluru, were victorious in both the categories. However, students from DPS East were very competitive and emerged as runners-up in Juniors category. The students were enthusiastic and were exposed to a very intellectual and entertaining event. OCTOBER PAGE 9
