Primer Series on ICTD for Youth Seeks to sensitize policymakers in the field of education and university faculty about the need to increase awareness about ICT for development amongst students & youth Supports UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014) declared by GA through resolution 57/254 Aims to fill a crucial gap in ICTD education in the region 17

Primer 1: An Introduction to ICTD Foundational ICTD text for students of all disciplines Learning Outcomes Students equipped with basic awareness and knowledge of the potential of ICT for promoting socio-economic development Students can leverage this knowledge in whichever fields they decide to work 18
