First English course, depends on placement level: 603-101-MA Intro. to College English 603-101-MB Literature & Composition 603-101-MC Effective Reading & Writing Some students may be required to take Remedial English 603-003 before taking 603-101.
Block A 603-101-MA/B/C (Must be done first) 603-102-MQ (Literary Genres) 603-103-MQ (Literary Themes) Block B 603-HSA/B/D/E (Program Related)
Placement is based on high school grades or placement test 2 Cegep-level French courses must be passed Students with weak or no French background will have to complete as many as 3 extra Mise à Niveau (Preparatory) courses: 602-011, 602-005 and 602-009.
Block A 602-100 602-101 602-102 602-103 Block B Program Related 602-HSA 602-HSB/E/K 602-HSC/F/L 602-HSD/G/M Block A courses must be done before Block B courses.
Block A 345-101-MQ 345-102-MQ Block B 345-HSA/B/C/D (Knowledge) (World Views) (Program Related) 345-101 or 345-102 must be done before 345-HSA/B/C/D
109-101 + 109-102 + 109-103 must be taken 109-101 and 109-102 can be taken in any order 109-103 must be done last. Also available as intensives and intersessions
Students must take 2 complementary courses Complementary courses are taken from subject areas different from your program To see which complementary courses you may take, please consult the Registration Guide. Students in Liberal Arts, Double DCS programs and the French/English DCS program do not take complementary courses.

Must be passed Can be written either in May or August or December Students must have passed 603-101, 603-102, 603-103 or 2 of the 3 and be registered in the third.

1. The PCA determines whether a student has integrated all the learning objectives of their program. 2. Different programs use different methods of determining the PCA: assignment, test, project or fieldwork/stage 3. Takes place in the final semester 4. Must be passed

To be in good academic standing, full-time students must pass: more than 50% of the courses in which they are registered a minimum of 50% of the programspecific courses in which they are registered.
In some programs, failing the same programspecific course twice leads to dismissal from the program. In all other programs, failing the same programspecific course a third time leads to dismissal from the program. The College provides a variety of support services to help students succeed in their studies.
