Residential Warden at Girls Hostel in IIT Roorkee. (May 2013-August 2014). M.Tech Thesis Topic: Genetic programming for pattern recognition Abstract: To recognize a brain signal characteristic ( Epileptic Spike ) using the concept of genetic programming (GP). The problem statement was to predict a pattern termed epileptic spike found in the EEG ( brain signal ) of an epileptic patient. Hence in this study, the application of soft computing to biomedical signal processing was explored. PhD related Work: Topic: Predictive models based on advanced machine learning algorithms for forecasting parameters associated with seismic signals. My area of interest is soft computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning. I am working on advanced machine learning algorithms, for prediction problems. Algorithms dealt are ELM, ANFIS, SVM, RVM, decision trees. A novel neuro fuzzy algorithm RANFIS (randomized ANFIS), which is hybrid structure of ELM and ANFIS
