These fees are used for reducing the group size, second language teaching, attending to special needs, organising school concerts, school trips, sports days etc. The fees are also used to provide translations, purchase extra learning aids and generally improve the learning environment of our school. The Dutch government believes that the compensation paid to schools in The Netherlands is sufficient for an adequate level of facilities. This compensation however is set for a normal Dutch school with large teaching groups. A law was introduced which restricts regulations concerning school fees/sponsor contributions and the ways to collect them. All schools are bound by these regulations and as a consequence we have to ask you to fill in and sign a School Fee/Sponsor Contribution Agreement. By signing the accompanying agreement, you will not only confirm your willingness to proceed with payments and accept the terms and conditions laid down in the attached regulations. You are also showing your support to give your child a great school experience. We realise only too well that your contribution imposes obligations upon us. This money will be spent on your child's well-being and creating the special atmosphere that our school has. You have a say - via our School Council (MR) - regarding use and level of these contributions. Furthermore, the School Board will give an annual financial report during the school year. We kindly request you to fill in and sign the attached agreement and hand it in to the administration of the school within two weeks. SCHOOL FEE/SPONSOR CONTRIBUTION REGULATIONS Article 1 - General By signing the School Fee/Sponsor contribution Agreement, the signatory (parent or guardian) undertakes to pay school fee/sponsor contribution for every child registered in the current school year. Parents/guardians may apply to their employer with a request to bear the amount due. The school fee/sponsor contribution will be fixed by the School Board once a year (see page 4 of these regulations). The School Council (MR) has a vote regarding the level and use of the school fee/sponsor contribution. Article 2 - Terms This agreement is entered for the duration of one school year and will be automatically renewed for the duration that the student is registered at this school. Increases in the school fee/sponsor contribution of more than 5% will be announced at least one year prior to the commencement date. If and when the school fees increase with more than 5%, you will receive a new agreement to sign. The school fee/sponsor contribution refers to the whole school year, to commence on August 1, up to and including July 31 of the year thereafter. In case of registering a student before the 16th day of a month, the full monthly amount will be due. In case of registering a student after the 15th day of a month, half the monthly amount for that month will be due. If a student's registration is terminated before the 16th day of a month, half the monthly amount for that month will be due. If a student's registration is terminated after the 15th day of a month, the full monthly amount for that month will be due. The minimum school fee/sponsor contribution in case of a short stay (6 weeks) at school is set at 450,-. Article 3 - Signature The agreement shall be signed and returned to the school administrator within fourteen days after receiving it. The school fee/sponsor contribution is payable on or before the date specified in the invoice. Article 4 - Exemption On grounds of income or pressing situations, the School Board may waive any of the terms and conditions incorporated in this agreement. Objections to the (level of) school fee/sponsor contribution should be sent to the School Board, Oirschotsedijk 14b, 5651 GC in Eindhoven. The School Board will decide within six weeks after receiving the objection, and will notify the objector in writing of their decision and motivation.
Article 5 Payment Obligation The agreement shall enter into force after signing, as mentioned in Article 1. Payment obligation is applicable in so far as the signatory as mentioned in Article 1 has, by entering into this agreement, declared his/her wish to lay claim to the facilities provided for herein. As a result of legal obligations, the school fees/sponsor contributions have a voluntary character, however, the school cannot function in the way the Board has set out without the financial contributions from the parents. Article 6 - Deductions The school offers no reductions for multiple children from the same family registered at any given time. We charge for the cost of the education for the student. Article 7 Extra Facilities 1. By means of the school fee/sponsor contributions, the School Board is able to fund the extra facilities during the school year. In case of non-payment, the School Board and the School Management claim the right, if and in so far as a payment obligation has arisen from signing this agreement, to exclude the student from the extra facilities paid from the school fee / sponsor contribution. 2*. If it has been indicated that only a part of the facility package paid from with the school fee/sponsor contribution will be used, the fixed fee will be reduced by a percentage corresponding to the percentages specified hereunder, regarding the facilities which will not be used. These extra facilities are : Additional staff costs (reduction of group size, second language teaching, extra student support) 70% Costs related to school premises (maintenance, energy, cleaning, security) 10% Costs not related to school premises (learning aids, copying, craft material) 8% Cultural education (school concert, excursions, sports day, cultural week, celebration of Christmas and Saint Nicholas) 2% Other costs (Lunch Club, school trip, school camp, translations, applications, school milk) 10% * Note - Fees for the new campus are outside this agreement Article 8 - Accountability The School Board will give an annual financial report. Article 9 In all cases where this agreement is not applicable, the School Board will decide.

SCHOOL FEES School fees for school year 2014/2015 are: 3.885,- per child ADDITIONAL CHARGES Companies registering children at the ISE Primary School will pay an additional, non-refundable amount per school year per child. For school year 2014/2015 the amount is 300,00. For students arriving part way through the school year, the school fees will be calculated on a monthly basis.
