Student feedback mechanism on Institutional Governance/faculty performance: The Principal obtains the feed-back at least Twice a year from the students regarding the quality of teaching done by the teachers. In case of any shortcomings observed either in the quality of teaching or attitude, the teacher is suitably advised. Based upon the feedback the teachers are rated on a 10pt. Scale. The Principal also takes feedback from the students regarding any difficulty or inconvenience faced by them and the issues are sorted out in consultation with the Deans, HODs and Wardens. Feedback format is enclosed.

11. Grievances redressal mechanism for faculty Staff and students: A Grievances Committee has been constituted way back in 2001 and its existence is widely circulated. Any major grievance, which could not be solved at the HOD level, can be submitted to the Committee. The Committee goes into the details and gives its suggestions to the Principal. The Principal in consultation with the Management takes appropriate steps for the redressal of the grievance. A Suggestion Box is installed within the easy reach of the students in the Administrative Building so that they may communicate their grievances in writing. The Principal notes the suggestions so received to initiate corrective actions.

Approval orders are awaited from university.

Faculty achievements:/recognitions: American Society for Testing Materials included Dr. Ram Rathan Lal, Dean (Acad.) & Associate Professor in their review panel for reviewing the journals. He reviewed a paper Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Geofoam based cellular reinforcement for Journal of Testing and Evaluation of ASTM. Sri A.N.Dabhade, Asst.Prof.in CED has been awarded Ph.D. degree by RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur during Dec.2015. (Title of his thesis Performance Evaluation of Recycled Aggregate Used in Concrete under the guidance of Dr.S.R.Chaudhari, B.D.CoE, Wardha). Activities of the Dept. 2-weeks workshop on Introduction to Structural Engineering was conducted by Dept. of Civil Engg. during 4 th to 9 th Jan.2016 in association with IIT Kharagpur. (Participants: 12 Nos.) Amount received Rs. 1,20,000/- On the eve of Engineers Day, STAMBH-2015, a national level technical fest was organized by the department during 15 th and 16 th Sept.2015. Dept. of Civil Engg. organized a training program on Analysis of Building Using STAADpro Software for 7 th sem. B.E. students during 15 th to 17 th Oct. 2015. Mr.Achitya Nandi, Dy.General Manager, Reliance Cement Co. Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur delivered a guest lecture on Manufacturing Process of Cement, Types of Cement, Aggregates, Concrete and Mix Design on 29 th Jan. 2016 for 2 nd and 3 rd year students. Mr.Girish Dharap, Mr.Sameer Alone & team, INFINI, Pune conducted a Career Guidance Workshop on 01/02/2016 for 3 rd and 4 th year students. Dr. A.N.Shrikhande delivered a lecture as speaker on Environmental Management and Decentralized Wastewater Treatment at Datta Meghe Institute of Engg. & Tech., Wardha on 21 st Aug. 2015. A training program Research Methodology conducted by Dr.R.K.Bopche and Dr.A.N.Shrikhande for the benefit of CTD faculty during 26 th Nov.2015 to 1 st Dec.2015. C-DAC launched a unique initiative Tech Campus to percolate high end technical skills at the UG level itself. The PG courses of CDAC have been modularized to become deliverable at the college level over a period of three years (starting from third semester). These courses are proposed to be conducted with regular engineering university curriculum. Soft Polynomial India Pvt. Ltd. (SPIPL) administers this program on behalf of CDAC in Nagpur region and provides technical support.

e-yantra a project by IIT, Bombay and sponsored by MHRD through NMEICT conducted a meeting on 09/10/2015 which attended by the Principal and HOD-Mech. This project through one of its initiatives elsi aims to enable colleges to teach Robotics and Embeded Systems in an effective manner by training 4 teachers from colleges in a region through workshops. It would also provide support and advice to set up Robotics Lab so that students can also be involved through projects. The lab would be set up in the Electronics Engg. Dept. and accordingly faculty will be deputed for the workshops. HOD-Mech. would co-ordinate this activity along with the EED and ECE. Bodhbridge Educational Services (Pvt.) Ltd. Chennai launched a video digital library software for LAN called Local G (Logal Guru) This consist of NPTEL material which is developed by IITs and IISc. Students can access these videos and other learning material through a web interface in the institute LAN without consuming the bandwidth. One of our alumni donated Rs 60,000/- and requested to buy some useful software for the student community.
