Editing Stage - plagiarism Since Spring Term 2010, the master thesis will be checked for plagiarism by a software. The software screens automatically, whether parts of the master thesis were copied from other sources without citing them. If this is the case, the program director can exclude the student from the program. 13

Assessment phase defense After the correction of the master s thesis, the students will defend their thesis 20 min oral presentation and questions & answers, total 45 min The date is fixed bilaterally preferably at the beginning of the master s thesis Only in exceptional cases, telecommunication will be used The grading weight is 80% thesis and 20% defense 15
