About the Release Notes These Release Notes provide system administrators with information related to the Building Block packages for different Blackboard Learn Service Packs, and the Building Block features and functionality in the McGraw-Hill Connect and Create Building Block - version 2.3. This document also covers a list of known issues with the McGraw-Hill Connect and Create building block and possible workarounds.
About McGraw-Hill Connect and Create McGraw-Hill Connect and Create provide tools for instructors to build customized course resources and assessments. Instructors can deploy and access McGraw-Hill content directly from Blackboard Learn, create custom ebooks for course readings or access media to support instruction. The resources available to instructors also include worksheets and a test bank to design assignments for students that can be linked in their Blackboard course. Grades from McGraw-Hill assignments are included in the Blackboard Grade Center.
Building Block Installation The McGraw-Hill Connect and Create building block has a version which is specific to each version of Blackboard Learn. Depending on the Blackboard Learn release your institution currently is running, choose the corresponding Building Block. New Features and Enhancements These Release Notes provide a high-level overview of the new features and enhancements to the McGraw-Hill Connect and Create Blackboard Building Block Version 2.3. This release focuses on new features, enhancements and bug fixes. The list of changes in this release is as follows: Registration Changes Auto Registration feature has been removed which will eliminate issues some institutions experienced with duplicate Installation IDs. All new registrations will need to be performed manually. Please refer to the Configuring McGraw-Hill Connect and Create Building Block section of the Administration Guide for instructions.
