A life-long resident of Wisconsin, Daryl majored in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, while working in the emergency medical services industry. Daryl then moved to the information technology field, building and leading a world-class technology and business development consulting company, allowing him to work with executive technology councils and senior leadership teams. Daryl has combined his professional experience and business interests with personal hobbies and passions to develop exciting and engaging keynote presentations, business workshops, and educational seminars. His audience has included businesses, executive leadership teams, civic and community groups, and professional organizations across the country. Daryl s motivational, educational, and entertaining presentations are based on leadership experiences and observations, combined with the little known, but definitive influence of the whimsical sophistication and creative spirit of one of the world s most recognized literary figures and cultural icons Dr. Seuss. Biographies Leroy Wade Deputy Commissioner Missouri Department of Higher Education If your career path has yet to intersect with Leroy Wade s, you are in for a treat. With more than 27 years of service at the Missouri Department of Higher Education, Leroy was appointed in July of 2013 to the position of Deputy Commissioner after serving as interim deputy commissioner since February. But in the eyes of Missouri s seasoned financial aid professionals, Leroy is so much more: he is an authority on state financial aid, the educational pipeline, and Missouri legislative issues as well as being a talented auctioneer, drummer, cattle farmer, and all around great guy. Additionally, Leroy served on the New Bloomfield public school board for about a decade. Like Missouri s financial aid community, Leroy is deeply committed to educating our citizenry and he always puts students first. 6 MASFAP 2013 Fall Conference Oh, The Places You ll Go!
