However it is mandatory for them to apply for Ph.D. course in the prescribed form available from the University latest by 26 th March 2012 There will be two papers: Paper (I) and (II) Paper - I will be common for all subjects. Paper 1: General Aptitude Test which will have 100 questions with multiple choice covering Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Analytical Reasoning, General knowledge and Language Aptitude. (Examination time 2:00 hrs) (Examination Time 11:00 to 01:00) Paper II: Subject Specific Test: This paper will be also of 100 marks with multiple choice questions. (Examination time 2:00 hrs) There will be 0.25 nagative marking for wrong answer. The cut off percentage will be decided from time to time. 4 (Examination Time 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm) A merit list of the successful candidates will be declared by the university. The result will be made available online on the university website. Passing the entrance examination does not give guarantee to a student to be registered for Ph.D. programme. The entrance examination result will be valid for two years from the date of passing.
