UPCOMING EVENTS 2018 January 4-26 2018 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Student Art Show An exhibition of the top 25 entries from the Stock Show and Rodeo s annual Student Western Art Contest, which recognizes outstanding high school student artists, with a focus on traditional western art. January 30 - February 11 Pony Express Love Letters Visitors create a handwritten letter, compose a sonnet on our vintage typewriter, or fill in a Valentine s Mad Lib for a special loved one. Our modern day Pony Express riders (bicycle volunteers) hand-deliver the letters to recipients in the downtown area, or letters are mailed outside the delivery area. Letter materials and delivery/postage are free. March 23 & 24 Night of Artists Art Sale & Reception Opening Weekend TICKETED EVENT This annual art showcase features live music, cocktails, food, and the opportunity to purchase over 270 new works of art by 70 of the country s top Western artists. This is the Briscoe s largest fundraiser. March 25 - May 6 Night of Artists Public Exhibition Now in its 17 th year, this exhibition showcases over 270 new works of art from 70 of the country s top Western artists.
