NOTICES OF AWARDS, FUNDING & RESEARCH 2014-2015 Graduate Research Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-proliferation (October 14, 2014) The Graduate Research Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-Proliferation are offered annually by The Simons Foundation and The International Security Research and Outreach Programme (ISROP) of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD). The primary objective of the Awards is to enhance Canadian graduate level scholarship on disarmament, arms control and non-proliferation issues. For more information visit Simons Foundation website. Call for Applications - DAAD ( Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) Scholarships and Research Grants Study Scholarships and Research Grants are available for highly qualified graduate students, PhD candidates, and post-doctoral researchers in all disciplines to study and carry out research at universities or research institutes in Germany. These scholarships provide funds for a period of study and/or research in Germany. Adjudication Procedures: Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies will oversee the university-wide competition that will select nominees to be forwarded to DAAD for the international competition. Comparing several models/analytical strategies and not sure which one to use? Curious about the critiques you might receive from reviewers? Have an upcoming talk and want to practice it? Many of us are confronting these types of questions in our daily research activities. In response we have created a time and space to discuss methodology. It s an informal space bring your lunch, rap about your current work, and hear/learn from others in the CRCF community. BRC fellows are especially encouraged to attend.
