Dr. BONNIE STEWART 36 Villa Ave, Charlottetown PE C1A 2B1 bstewart@upei.ca 902-367-6465 (h) / 902-626-7404 (c) @bonstewart Research Areas: I am an educator and researcher fascinated by who we are when we re online. My work focuses on the intersection of networked and institutional practices: digital scholarship, networked identities and influence, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). I also manage the direction and growth of adult education and professional learning programs within the UPEI Faculty of Education. In my research, I aim to practice and model the open, participatory, and collaborative ethos that is at the core of what I study. I was a pioneering collaborator in MOOC research, and currently lead international digital pedagogy / strategy sessions and digital literacies workshops. I have 20 years of teaching experience, including more than a decade in higher education, and have successfully designed and taught B.Ed, M.Ed, and college-level courses. I ve published in peer-reviewed and public venues, and given keynote and plenary addresses in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
