4. Click on the Assessments tab. 5. Click Create a New Teacher Test Located in the bottom left hand corner. 6. Choose Create a new blank test. In the bottom right corner click Next. Updated January 2017 Page 2 of 14

7. Give the test a name and choose the grade level. Click Next when done. 8. Select a Course. This will activate the standards group that this test covers. Drill all the way down until you find the subject (or main subject) of the test. Click Next when done. 9. You re Done with the set-up. Click Finish in the lower right corner. 10. General tab information. A. Modify the Test Name if desired. B. Indicate the Subject Area folder you would like the test to be organized in under the My Teacher Tests menu. C. Verify the Grade Level and change if needed. D. Change the levels of Expectation Scores if desired. E. Enter Instructions for the student. F. Enter Notes for the test administrator (yourself or other teachers you will share the test with). G. Use the Remove Test Administration here to delete a test only after you clear and delete all answer documents. See 17E. 11. Navigate to the Curriculum Tab. 12. Double check that the Associated Course is listed. Optional: Add additional subjects using Add Course if you are testing more than one content area at a time. Example: A History test could also cover ELA topics beyond the recursive standards and you would like to align those standards with this test. Updated January 2017 Page 4 of 14

Note: Eduphoria tends to like Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V for copying and pasting. Eduphoria! Aware 13. Navigate to the Questions Tab. 14. Add Questions by clicking the Add Question tab. And wait! As you add questions, you will have to scroll down to see it. 15. Use the drop down menu to select the type of question you want to add. NOTE: All fields will expand as you type or cut and paste Selected Response: multiple choice, multi-select, and true/false A. Type in, or copy and paste, your question, picture, graph, etc. B. Enter the response answers. C. Remember to mark which one is correct. D. Move the answers up or down in the list. E. Remove a response choice. F. Add a response choice. G. I. Use the Question Format option to change from Multiple Choice to Multiple Selection. J. Play with other options if you choose. K. If you want a question to be weighted more than others, set it here. Eduphoria! Aware Note: Return here later and use the other options to adjust what the layout looks like when printed if needed. L. Navigate to the Standards tab. M. Highlight the standard that this question covers. N. Click on Select Standard. O. If you realize you picked the wrong standard, choose select New Primary Standard. P. Remove the wrong standard. Q. Select New Secondary Standard if your question covers more than one standard. R. Navigate to the Resources tab. S. FOR ONLINE TESTING!! If a question will be tied to a resource you must choose which resource it will correlate with. Suggestion: Enter all resources FIRST so they are available to choose from. T. Numerical Response: Whole number, Integers, and decimals (no fractions). Note: The following will appear under all numerical answers in the test booklet: A. Type in, or copy and paste, your question, picture, graph, etc. B. Enter the correct answer. C. Navigate to the Options tab. D. Edit the Use floating decimal point option. E. Choose your Decimal Places. F. If applicable, use Allow Negative Values. G. Change the weight if needed. H. Navigate to the Standards tab and Resource tab (see M-S in the previous section labeled Selected Response). I. Click Finished when done. Constructed Response: Written response that will be graded with a 1-4 rubric (scale can be increased or decreased in the options tab). A. Type in, or copy and paste, your question, picture, graph, etc. B. Type in, or copy and paste, a scoring guide with information of level 1-4 expectations. This information is displayed on the answer key. C. Navigate to the Options tab. Updated January 2017 Page 7 of 14

D. Change the rubric grading options E. In order to grade the constructed Response on the bubble sheet before scanning, you must leave the Number of Rows at zero. Instruct the students to write the answer near the item number on the bubble sheet. F. Change the weight if needed. G. Navigate to the Standards tab and Resource tab (see M-S in the previous section labeled Selected Response). H. Click Finished when done. Eduphoria! Aware Resource: Passages, pictures, graphs, or charts that will have multiple questions associated with it. A. Give your resource a title (that only you will see in order to link the questions to resources). B. Type in, or copy and paste, your resource. Give your resource a title, center it, make it bold, etc. using the edit tools. HINT: You can use the Snipping Tool option on your computer to cut and paste objects into the resource, the question, or response answers. C. Navigate to the Options tab. D. Modify the Layout options. E. Modify other choices if desired. F. Click Finished when done. Item Bank Questions A. Choose Search Item Bank. B. Click on the double blue arrows. C. Use the scroll bar to find the standard you need. D. Highlight the standard by clicking on it. E. Choose Search Item Bank. F. Use the blue arrows to view the question. G. Choose the question(s) you want to add. H. Click on Add Selected. I. Click Close when done. Updated January 2017 Page 9 of 14

Miscellaneous Info U. To edit or move a question hover in the top right corner of the question. V. If you have supplied the correct answer and aligned a standard it will show here. If you forgot it will be blank. W. To change the layout from ABCD FGHJ to ABCD ABCD use the Alternate button. X. You have an option for the size of the font on the test booklet by changing the Text Style. = Normal Font = Small Font = Large Font = This option prints the test booklet without selected response answer options. It also does not print any inserted graphics. However, the answer sheet remains the same. Note: If you make any changes, after the initial creation of the test (ex: you decided to change the name of the test), you must Save for the changes to take effect. 16. Click the Advanced tab. 17. Advanced Tab information. A. Use the Re-Score option to regrade a test after you have made a correction (ex: you changed an answer or a standard). WARNING: Do NOT use this option with online testing!!! It will erase all test data and students will have to completely erase the test. B. Choose Online Calculator for Math Tests if you will be using online testing. C. Leave Testing Style as Interactive. This allows you to use both online and bubble sheet options. D. Delete Answer Sheets for individual students that will not be taking the test. E. Clear Answer Documents if you want to completely remove student test scores. 18. Print the Test Booklet using the Print menu. You can also print an answer key. In both options a PDF will be generated. 19. Navigate to the Analyze Tab. Updated January 2017 Page 11 of 14

20. Click on Test Available. 21. Chose the test you want to administer by clicking the page icon, the name of the test, or the blue arrow. 22. Choose the Class(s) that you want to administer the test to. Then: A. Print Answer Sheets OR B. Start Online Testing Updated January 2017 Page 12 of 14

23. Answer sheets are student specific. There is no blank option. Students should NOT alter the barcode at the bottom of the page or the test will not scan or will scan incorrectly. 24. Scan all bubble sheets at the Brother copier/scanner located at your school. Some schools have two. One is normally located in the testing coordinators office. 25. If you need to adjust the answer sheet, follow these steps: a. Navigate to the Assessments Tab and drill down under My Teacher Tests until you find your test. b. Navigate to the Advanced Tab. c. Choose Delete Answer Sheet. Delete the answer sheets for ALL students. d. Navigate to the Questions tab and adjust / add to your test form as needed. 26. Share your test with your colleagues within the actual test. Enter their email name in the search field. If they are found, it will put the test in their test folder with a from extension in the name of the test. Note: If you are administering a test that you want gather departmental data on, you will need to use the following process: 1. Share the test with the testing coordinator at your school. 2. The testing coordinator will then share the test with all teachers in the department. 27. When you are completely finished with a test you can use the Archived option to move a test out of your active folder. They can be reactivated later. Updated January 2017 Page 14 of 14
