IFN Strategic Plan Numerical Gals Achievement First Year The 27 IFN researchers published 121 peer-reviewed articles related t IFN Of the peer-reviewed publicatins, 25% had tw r mre IFN c-authrs, demnstrating cllabratins between researchers and clusters. A ttal f 13 cmpetitive research r infrastructure prpsals are currently funded by multiple agencies fr a ttal f $5.8M in funds; and 18 cmpetitive prpsals have being submitted fr a ttal f $10.3M. 33 sheltered prpsals f IFN researchers are currently funded fr a ttal f $27M. One f the majr achievements f the IFN is the impressive invlvement f undergraduate and graduate students in the IFN institute effrts. A ttal 206 students are currently being supervised and mentred by the 27 IFN researchers (146 are US Citizen and 97 Females). The IFN has directly intrduced ver 1,000 persns f all ages and backgrunds t nan science and technlgy. 9
