Approach people in a positive and confident manner.

Deliver your self-introduction with the listener in mind. Don t explain, apologize, or add too much information. Stop talking when you re done. Meet other people. Use his or her name.

1. Quit making excuses. 2. Focus on their face and name. 3. Ask them about the spelling or origin of their name. 4. Try to capture their name and face in a mental image. 5. Go around the group and say their names to yourself. 6. Practice remembering names. Remembering Names

It allows you to connect with people and target a specific audience. You can get to know people in a specific location. You can connect with new people the same as if it were a real-life networking event. How can social media remove the stress from relationship building?

Beginner s Guide 1. Get started in social media. 2. Visit Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. 3. Join each one and pick the same username. 4. Link your profiles and link them back to your main site. 5. Join groups in your niche.

Meet someone and get his or her business card. Ask if he or she is on any social networks. Send an email letting the person know you will connect with him or her. Include a personal greeting as a part of the friend or connection request. Post an update about your new connection.
