INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OF RENAL PATHOLOGY- 2011 May 23rd - June 4th 2011 We are pleased to announce the first CME accredited International Summer School of Renal Pathology to be held at the University of Bari, Italy from May 23 rd to June 4 th 2011. The course is sponsored by the RPS as well as ERA-EDTA. Fellowships are available to cover some of the costs of the course (see fellowship announcement and registration form below). ISSRP Scholarship Program 2011 The ISSRP has instituted a scholarship fund to encourage participation of students with insufficient personal or institutional funding. A sum of 1500 will be awarded to supplement travel, tuition and stay of a limited number of candidates, while attending the renal pathology school. There will be from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 fellowships available each year to be distributed according to merit. However, no more than one fellowship per continent will be awarded each year (Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South and Central America and North America). The ISSRP organizers invite students to apply for this funding by submitting the following by February 1, 2011 to qualify for the session in May-June 2011: a) Completed registration form to attend the ISSRP. b) A personal letter from the student requesting the funding with reasons and available funds. c) A letter of recommendation from your supervisor or mentor (for trainees only).
