Woodhouse Primary School Sports Spending 2016-17 PE and Sports Grant 2016-2017 The government is providing additional funding of 150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport has been allocated to Primary School Budgets. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools. Sports Grant Report Costs 2016-17 Grant received = 8,000 Total number of pupils on role - 207 Summary of Grant spending 2016-17. Total estimated spend is 12,380 (carry over from previous year). Plus 10,000 from Lottery Grant for outdoor gym.
