WHY CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP ESSENTIALS? Research demonstrates that corporate-ngo partnerships are of growing importance to both the corporate and NGO sector, with 96% of NGOs and 85% of businesses expecting their partnerships to grow in importance over the next five years. 1 Yet for many charities these partnerships remain elusive at best, or at worse, lead to distraction from core work, delivering little real value. Corporate Partnership Essentials has been designed to equip NGOs with the knowledge and skills to create valuable corporate partnerships. CoCreate: Who We Are CoCreate are global experts in cross-sector partnerships, working globally to support partnerships for NGOs, Sports Federations and Corporate partners. We believe that partnerships should unlock mutual value for all partners, and our mission is to support all organisations to achieve this. Course Learning Objectives Join us for this highly practical and relevant virtual learning course in Partnership Essentials, designed to help charities and NGOs to: Understand current thinking and trends in corporate-ngo partnerships, Develop strategies that meet your needs and add value for you Learn from a range of best practical examples and case studies Focus on identifying your own partnership needs and assets Sharpen skills in presenting partnership opportunities using a range of tools Learn how to identify, assess and approach potential partners Understand the ethical implications of partnerships and create strategies Develop commercial strategies and contracting agreements Manage partnerships more effectively These webinars have been immensely valuable in equipping us to try our hand with corporate partnerships, we all feel incredibly enthused about it. Course Format Corporate Partnership Essentials is a cutting-edge virtual learning programme. All modules take place at 09:30 BST on the following dates: June 19 th, July 3 rd, July 17 th We keep the group ratio to a manageable size, ensuring that we can develop a network across attendees, and give airtime to every person attending. The programme is split into four main elements: 1. Pre-work: Prior to each webinar we will distribute relevant reading (this will include multi-media resources), and will ask you to complete a selfassessment through an online survey. This will enable us to make the most of the time spent on the webinar, and provide you with insightful research and learning resources that will stimulate your thinking in the area of corporate partnerships. 2. Webinars: Each webinar lasts 90-120 minutes and will be fully interactive, packed with theory, case studies, and discussion. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions, to hear from a range of high profile speakers (including Sony, Laureus, Street League), and complete live example exercises. Should you miss a webinar, the video link will ensure that you can keep pace with the course. 3. Partnership Workbook: Each attendee will receive our Partnerships Workbook, designed to help you to work through creating the right kind of strategy and supporting resources for corporate partnerships. On each webinar we will provide guidance for the up-coming exercises, and review those completed previously. 4. One-to-One Support: We provide tailored support from the Senior Consultant delivering the course. We recommend this option, as it includes scheduled 1:1 time with the course tutor throughout the Corporate Partnership Essentials course, providing coaching support for any specific issues, assessment and feedback on your work and support in creating strategies and resources relevant to each module of the course. Thank you so much for delivering your workshop at the NAVA Chief Officers Residential Event last week. The session on Corporate Partnerships provided some key insights for attendees, and the feedback we have received has been excellent. Lindsey Benton, Head of Leadership Programmes NAVCA 4
