A special thank you goes to our students and parents who contributed fruit pies, pumpkin pies, butter, cranberry sauce, whipped cream, half & half, plastic cups, and dessert plates for our luncheon. This wonderful feast was thoroughly enjoyed by all! No Basketball Practice - Friday, Dec. 1 due to the Christmas Fair set up. ASP Reminder - There will be no ASP on Friday, Dec. 1 due to Christmas Fair set-up or Tues., Dec. 19 due to our half day. Christmas Basket Donations - All contributions are due in the boxes outside classroom by Thursday, Nov. 30. Thank you! Christian Character Awards - Month of November - Students were recognized at our Nov. 17 morning assembly for exemplifying Christian character traits. Certificates were awarded to the following students: Evalette Foss (grade 1), Chloe Hennessey (grade 2), Liam Nichols (grade 4), Emma McAlarney (grade 5), Dylan Silveira (grade 7), Avery Tomlinson (grade 3), Cecelia Wolters (grade 6), and Joanna Wright (Kindergarten). Honor Roll Assembly - Please join us on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at our 8:05 a.m. morning assembly to celebrate the hard work of our 3rd - 8th grade students! Holiday Concert - Friday, Dec. 15 - Please join us at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center for our 6 p.m. concert. This event will be first-come, first-serve, with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. The Arts Center requests that you do advance ticketing through the following link: https://sprucepeakarts.secure.force.com/ticket/#sections_a0f1j00000qijfquac to give them an idea of the number of people who will be attending. Strictly speaking, however, tickets are NOT required for admission. We don't anticipate having any seating issues since only a small portion of our students will be seated this year. In the very unlikely event that seating is at full capacity, it is possible that late comers will not be admitted due to fire safety regulations. Students need to arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. and should come dressed in holiday best!

Report Cards - Grades K-2 - Report cards will be distributed in hard-copy form on Friday, Dec. 1. Grades 3-8 - Report cards are now available on the ParentsWeb through Renweb. Should you wish to retain a printed copy, you will be able to print it through Renweb. Instructions on how to access the parents portal can be found on our website under: For Current Families, Latest Friday Notes, How to Access ParentsWeb - Friday Notes - Sept. 1, 2017. Buildings and Grounds Booster Club - The Booster Club will meet on Saturday, December 9 from 8-11 a.m. Please join us if you can; we need your help! Music Department Raffle - Please help out the Music Department by buying raffle tickets for a beautiful quilt that Mrs. Boucher made! All proceeds will go to the Music Department to purchase music and instruments for future concerts! Prices for tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Tickets will go on sale Monday, December 4th and will continue until the night of the Christmas Concert on December 15th when the winning ticket will be pulled at the conclusion of the concert! Tickets will be sold at school pick-up time; alternatively you can purchase them in the school office or from a band member. For more information, contact Mrs. Boucher at hboucher@bjams.org. BJAMS Thank You - Three cheers for Mrs. Boucher for all the volunteer time and effort she put into making the quilt being raffled off for the benefit of our music program!!! Please come out in support of our students who will benefit from the proceeds of this event. You can shop for many handmade gifts, seasonal foods, decorated wreaths and much more. Also... just a reminder to families of students in grades 6-8 about kitchen donations and work shifts. Everyone's help is needed to make this event successful! BASKET ITEMS NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS FAIR The planning for the annual BJAMS Christmas Fair is already underway and this year s fair is scheduled for December 2nd! This is a one-day event that raises over $3,000 for our students educational trips and activities. In addition to the Fair, the fantastic organizers also create several baskets to raffle off. Each classroom is given a theme, some suggestions, and a box for contributions that will be located outside each classroom. On Thursday, Nov. 30, the boxes will be collected and wrapped up in a nice package for the raffle. Here s how you can help: Pre-K and K Basket Theme: Baking (Examples would include: sprinkles, pans, cookie cutters, towels, potholders, cookbook, cupcake papers, etc.) Grade 1 and 2 Basket Theme: Craft (Examples would include: yarn, glue, paper, knitting needles, scissors, fun paper, glitter, etc.) Grade 3 and 4 Basket Theme: Movie/Game Night (Examples would include: DVDs, popcorn, board games, card games, etc.) Grade 5 Basket Theme: Pet Examples would include: toys, food, leash, bowls, etc.) Grade 6 Basket Theme: Man/Dad (Examples would include: tools, beef jerky, car cleaner, snacks, etc.) Grade 7 Basket Theme: Pasta Diner (Examples would include: pasta, sauce, cheese, strainer, bread, oil, towels, Italiano desserts, etc.) Grade 8 Basket Theme: Vermont (Examples would include: Any Vermont-made product)
