It is current for the 2005-2006 Catalog and will be updated annually. Please note: This agreement does not apply to the Chapman University Orange Campus programs and requirements. The following sections are included based on programs offered at our Concord, CA location: General Education Requirements Bachelor of Arts Criminal Justice Bachelor of Arts Liberal Studies Bachelor of Arts Organizational Leadership Bachelor of Arts Psychology Bachelor of Arts Social Science General Education Requirements: Chapman University recognizes the full CSU GE and UC IGETC certifications as meeting all General Education Requirements with the exception of the Junior Writing Proficiency Requirement and the LBSU 300 course requirement provided the certification is completed prior to matriculation. Transferability of courses/general elective credits: Courses numbered 100-299 that indicate CSU and/or UC transfer excluding internships, practicum, work experience, field experience, preparatory skill and technical/vocational type courses are transferable for credit. Only lower division credit is given for courses that equate to 300-400 level courses. Major requirements: Some lower division courses are approved to meet upper division requirements. Please note that credit given for lower division courses does not apply towards the minimum 36 credits of overall upper division coursework needed for the degree nor the minimum 21 upper division credits required in a major. Lower division courses used to meet upper division requirements may require additional coursework to be completed in order to meet the upper division credit minimums.
