B. BUSINESS 1. Ohio Schools Council Cooperative Advertising and Receiving Bids for School Bus Chassis and Bodies WHEREAS, the Shaker Heights City Schools Board of Education wishes to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of four (4) 71-passenger conventional IC school buses. The 2007-2008 Cooperative School Bus Purchasing Program fee is $650.00. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Shaker Heights City Schools Board of Education wishes to participate and authorizes the Ohio Schools Council to advertise and receive bids on behalf of said Board as per the specifications submitted for the cooperative purchase of four (4) 71- passenger conventional IC school buses. This Board agrees to pay $650.00 to Ohio Schools Council for school district membership as a service fee for this purpose. C. WELCOME MRS. BARBARA WHITAKER - WOODBURY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL D. 4 TREASURER'S REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS A. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS It is recommended that the financial statements for February 2007 (Exhibit T-1) be accepted and placed on file for audit. B. INVESTMENTS It is recommended that in accordance with Section 135.14 of the Ohio Revised Code, the interim investments listed in Exhibit T-2 be ratified. C. SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following supplemental appropriation resolution: WHEREAS, the Shaker Heights Board of Education has received grants and awards from various funding sources; and WHEREAS, the Shaker Heights Board of Education on September 12, 2006, adopted annual appropriations for the 2006-2007 budget year, which in part this appropriation in addition to others adopted since September will either replace or amend; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Shaker Heights Board of Education, amend its previously adopted appropriation accounts: 1.
