We now have in place a transfer credit agreement with Ivy Tech where we have articulated 562 semester hours that may be transferred from any Ivy Tech campus to Indiana University Bloomington. The courses may be taken before or after IU Bloomington matriculation. Bold numbers are the newest version of the same ITCC courses (in parenthesis). Starting fall 2008, Ivy Tech has changed their departmental abbreviations from 3 to 4 digits. All current approved course numbers are listed with the new 4 digit department codes. The course will transfer as long as a grade of C or higher was earned. These are called "undistributed" (UN) credits because we can't give them a specific IU course number. In addition, most courses in fine arts, music, Slavic languages, East Asian languages, Sign language and 300-400 level business are transferred to IU as undistributed according to these departments' instructions. The decision as to how UN courses fit into your degree program is made by the school/division in which you are pursuing your degree. Please contact them for additional information.
