Depending on how big your service project is, you could even invite church groups, school groups, and other youth groups to join you. What a great way to recruit new members to 4-H! Through one day of service, the youth in your community can see first-hand what 4-H does, how it serves others, and how much fun you have when everyone works together. Make your day of service special for someone else by extending an invitation! If your 4-H club is planning to use their hands to larger service this spring, sign up to be part of True Leaders in Service. This April, national 4-H is launching a month-long community service effort, that kicksoff the first day of April, and culminates with the National 4-H Day of Service on Saturday, April 29. Each project book contains information and activities for members to explore as an organized group project or at home under the guidance of a parent or interested adult. When choosing a project, consider your interests, background, what is necessary to start the project, and the resources available to help you complete it. Project Central An easy way for 4-H members to preview Ohio 4-H project books and resources. Re-Enrollment Help: There is a video you can watch if you need help or follow the Family re-enrollment guide. Family Re-enrollment Guide This year families can re-enroll 4-H members in 4-H Online. You will need to still turn in your re-enrollment forms to your advisors. If you are new to 4-H you will need to fill out a paper enrollment form to your advisor and I will enroll you. County Sewing Project Once again we are offering a County Sewing Project with the help of the ladies at Sew Nice in Upper Sandusky. You can register for this project on 4-H Online. Teen Opportunities for Wyandot County 4-H members: Leadership Washington Focus (Youth entering grades 7-9) July 17-21, 2107 This 5-day trip is packed with educational adventure as participants tour our nation s Capital and learn life-changing leadership skills in a conference setting.
