The Oyster Bay-East Norwich Board of Education welcomes public comment at its meetings. The Board of Education will respond to comments and/or inquiries in the appropriate manner. This portion of the meeting is designed exclusively for Agenda items. A Sign In book is provided for those residents wishing to address the Board. In order to be recognized, you must be signed in. Each speaker will be allowed a maximum of three minutes. The Board President will call you to the microphone in the order in which you have signed in. Motion by, seconded by VII BUSINESS ACTIONS following Business Resolutions as listed: A) REAL PROPERPTY TAX REPORT CARD RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich CSD approves the Real Tax Report Card prepared by the Business Office for the 2015 Annual District Meeting and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of said report card was submitted to the State Education Department on April 21, 2015; which was 24 hours after Board of Education adoption of the 2015-16 school budget. B) HEALTH AND WELFARE SERVICES AGREEMENT CONTRACT - NON- PUBLIC SCHOOL ATTENDEES RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the President of the Board of Education of the Oyster Bay East Norwich Central School District is authorized to sign a Health and Welfare Services agreement with the Mineola Union Free School District for the purpose of having the Mineola Union Free School District provide the Health and Welfare services to children residing in Oyster Bay East Norwich and attending a non-public school located in Mineola, as per Section 912 of the Education Law, for the 2014-15 school year. The agreed upon sum is $800.00 per eligible student, prorated accordingly for each student to accurately reflect the actual period of time during which services were provided to each student. The total for two (2) students attending non-public schools in Mineola is $1,600.00.

AGENDA - 5-5/5/15 C) GOVERNMENT EFFICIENY PLAN RESOLUTION RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that the Board of Education of the Oyster Bay - East Norwich Central School District designates the Roslyn Union Free School District as lead entity for purposes of submission of the Government Efficiency Plan on behalf of the Oyster Bay - East Norwich Central School District in cooperation with the following school districts: North Shore Schools Port Washington Carle Place Herricks Garden City Roslyn Glen Cove Manhasset Jericho Locust Valley East Williston Great Neck Syosset Oyster Bay East Norwich BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools and the chief financial officer to certify the submission of the Government Efficiency Plan on behalf of Oyster Bay - East Norwich Central School District and provide to the Roslyn UFSD as the lead entity.
