Board Members Sworn In Justice of the Peace, Joyce Lindauer, handled the swearing in of board members,, and Walter Beasley. Paraprofessionals Earn Degrees The School Board recognized Haley Cameron, Kamren Escobar, and Emily Welch for completing their teaching degrees through Texas A&M - Commerce.

Student Recognition Continued Student members of the Technology Student Association (TSA) were recognized for their activities and successes during the school year. Student Recognition Continued The entire Lion Tennis Team was recognized for their continued success on and off the court. They had a great showing recently at the Regional Tournament and will be sending four players to the State Tournament to be held May 17-18th on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station. Ben Erdmann was the Regional Champion in boys singles, while Adam Taylor finished in 3rd Place. Zoe Howard and Tori Wilhoite finished 3rd in girls doubles and will serve as alternates for the State Tournament. Girls track members were recognized for making it to the State Track Meet in Austin. Student Recognition Continued Boys track athletes were recognized for their success at the Regional and Area Meets. Pictured left to right is Coach, Steve Marrow, Dikeevian Grimes and Dalas Todisco. Todisco also reached the State Meet in Austin and will be competing in the discus. Members of the 2018-2019 EHS Student Council were sworn in at the board meeting. Action Items Board Approved Canvassed Results Board approved canvassed election results as presented. Board Members Sworn In Justice of the Peace, Joyce Lindauer, administered the Oath of Office to Bill Chapman,, and Walter Beasley. Board Officers Approved The Board elected Bramlet Beard as President, Julie Pierce as Vice President, and Walter Beasley as Secretary. Board Approved Second Reading of Update 110 The Board approved the second reading of Update 110 as presented. No Action Taken on Sale of Real Property The Board took no action on the sales process. Board Approved 2018-2019 Compensation The Board approved the compensation schedule as presented. Board Approved Employment The Board approved a list of employees as recommended by the Superintendent.
