AS PER CLAUSE 4.0.0 OF THE UGC REGULATIONS 2010 AND UGC (4 TH AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2016. THE ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE F VARIOUS TEACHING POSTS IN ARTS, HUMANITIES, SCIENCES, SOCIAL SCIENCES, EDUCATION, LANGUAGES, JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION ARE AS FOLLOWS: PROFESS i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned I allied I relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and I or research! policy papers in indexedlisbn/issn numbered journals and lor ISBN/ISSN numbered books and the University developed ISBN/ISSN numbered list of journalsl Books hosted in the website of the University. ii) A minimum of 10 years of teaching expenence III University I College, and I or experience in research at the University I National level institutions I industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology - mediated teaching learning process. iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator CAPI) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), developed by UGC (4 th Amendment) Regulations, 2016. PROFESS (Arts, Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, Languages, Journalism and Mass Communication) i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (1) and (2) above, candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in the following manner are exempted from having NET: iv) "Provided further, the award of degree to candidates registered for the M.Phil./ Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET ISLET ISET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities I Colleges I Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions as per UGC 4th Amendment dated: 11 July 2016. a) Ph.D degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only b) Evaluation of the Ph.D thesis by at least two external examiners c) Open Ph.D viva voce of the candidate had been conducted d) Candidate has published two research papers from his I her Ph.D work out of which at least one must be in a referred journal e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences I seminars, based on his I her Ph.D work. (a) to (e) as above are to the certified by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice- ChancellorlDean (Academic Affairs) I Dean (University instructions) v) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted... 5

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE F TEACHING POSTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF APPAREL TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT (Assistant Professor) M.Sc. degree in Apparel Technology and management with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with Specialization in Chemical processing, Textiles, Garments Constructions, Silk Technology, Apparel Merchandising M.Sc. Degree in Polymer Science with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with Specialization of Apparel Technology Chemical Processing Textiles, Garments constructions, Silk Technology, Apparel Merchandising A first class Post graduation in Engineering I Technology with Textiles. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE F TEACHING POSTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PERFMING ARTS (Assistant Professor) A) DRAMA DISCIPLINE i) Good academic record with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master's Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian I Foreign University., ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGc. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations 2009, Shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities I Colleges I Institutions. iii) Without prejudice to the above, NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. iv) A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should be or have: 1. A professional artist with first class degree I diploma from National School of Drama or any other such approved Institution in India or abroad; 2. Five years of regular acclaimed performance in regional/national/international stage with evidence, and 3. Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustration in said discipline... 6

B) MUSIC AND DANCE DISCIPLINE i) Good academic record with 50% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian I Foreign University. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectures conducted by the UGC, CISR, or similar test accredited by the UGC. Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.2.1, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities I Colleges I Institutions. Hi) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. 1. A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the subject, who should have: (a) Studied under noted/reputed traditional masters and has thorough knowledge to explain the subject concerned; (b) A high grade artist of AIR/TV; and (c) Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline. and adequate ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE F TEACHING POSTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF TELUGU (Assistant Professor) i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (1) and (2) above, candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in the following manner are exempted from having NET: iv) "Provided further, the award of degree to candidates registered for the M.Phil./ Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then., 7

If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Assoc. Professor with active participation record in devising / designing. Lanning executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR / patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 10 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid. v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC (4th Amendment) Regulations, 2016.
