Our school aims: being respectful, understanding, positive and aspirational Newsletter 27 31 st 2017 Year 3 Sadly, this week s Year 3 trip to the National Portrait Gallery was cancelled. Instead, Year 3 teachers planned a wonderful art day for all our Year 3 pupils to link with their IPC unit Paintings, Pictures and Photographs. At the end of the day pupils displayed their art work in their very own Parsloes Portrait Gallery. Their art work was amazing and the gallery looked great. Well done Year 3! Book Look A reminder that next Thursday will be this half term s parent book look. The school will be open to parents and carers from 3.20pm 4.00pm. It will be an opportunity for parents/carers to come into class with their child and sit together to discuss the work in their exercise books. This a great opportunity for parents to see what lessons are taking place in school and also to celebrate their child s learning. We look forward to seeing you. Science Week Next week is Science Week. Miss Martinez has organised some wonderful events for the children and teachers have planned experiments and investigations linked to their class science topic. Children will also be helping to plan and create our school Science Garden. We are all looking forward to a wonderful week. If you have any questions, please see your child s class teacher.
