Beginning Freshmen (Out-of-State or Home-Schooled) Freshman students, who graduate from out-of-state schools or home schooled, must meet one of the following minimum admissions criteria: Criteria 1 Completion of Louisiana Board of Regents' high school core curriculum (Must have 17 Required Hours) Minimum ACT English score of 18 OR math score of 19 (SAT verbal score of 430 OR SAT math score of 460); New SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Score of 500 or SAT Math Score of 510. One of the following: Minimum high school GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale OR Core GPA of 2.0 or ACT composite score 0f 19 (SAT Composite of 940). *New SAT total score of 1010 **Scores based on if student took test in 2018**
