Online Registration Process Flow 1. The following work flow has been finalized for online registration: Asst. Lib. Important Dates GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Online course registration along with dates of fee payment are indicated in Academic Calendar. However, the same for every semester will be notified at the end of the previous semester through proper notifications. Mode of Registration: This is only course registration and registration for hostel is not included here. So students are kindly requested to contact office of Chief Warden, regarding hostel allotment and hostel fee payment after successful completion of course registration only. Details of online course registration and fee payment are given in Annexure I. No Dues Clearance: Initially students have to complete their respective No Dues in advance (if any). Respective departments, library, hostel, accounts and mess will issue the list of students who may not be entitled for registration. Corresponding students will be blocked for online course registration and corresponding message will also be flashed at the student s account in IMS. The list of such students will be displayed in the Institute website in advance. For No Dues clearance, students are requested to contact following departments well in advance or for clearance of no dues during the time of registration. Course Registration: After successful clearance of No Dues (if any), students will be allowed to proceed for online course registration. During online registration, students will not be allowed to update their personal information page. (Which have already done according to circular(s) from ERP Team). Immediate after the commencement of online registration, all office of the Head of the Departments will start verify the status of course registration of students and consecutively approve students for their fee payment on regular basis. Any query related to departmental approval or academic related issues may be sorted out by dropping email only to the respective Head of the Departments. The ERP Team will not entertain these kinds of queries. Fee Payment: After completion of course registration, students will be allowed by their respective Head of the Departments for online fee payment only. Non- DASA Students: Online payments through Internet banking/ NEFT/ credit/ debit cards will be mostly encouraged. Offline payments through Demand Draft only, will be available at NIT Delhi during mentioned period only in the Academic calendar. No cash payment will be considered. DASA Students: DASA student cannot pay their Tuition Fee through IMS (Payment Gateway) that will be done only through NEFT/RTGS in USD only. In this regard, they are strictly advised to not to click the pay now button visible at their payment page in IMS. DASA students have to pay tuition fee in US Dollars ($) only; no other currency will be accepted. Page 4 of 20

Use given swift code in the fee structure (kindly visit website) to pay tuition fee in US Dollars ($). For backlog courses, following is the fee structure, according to NIT Delhi rules. Mode Fees Study Mode (regular Classes) Rs. 1000 per Credit Exam Mode (Subject wise) Rs. 1200 per subject Fee Receipt Generation and Verification: For online fee payment: After successful online fee payment, students are requested to take printouts of the online fee receipt generated at IMS and verify (duly signed) by the official of Accounts department at NIT Delhi. For DASA students: The NEFT/RTGS receipt generated from their respective bank will have to be submitted at the Accounts department of NIT Delhi by the students personally and accounts department will correspondingly generate the fee submission receipt and will verify it. Important: Duration for Payment Confirmation: The payment gateway usually takes 2 days to confirm the online payment to the accounts department; hence, students are requested to proceed for online fee payment well in advance, so that the entire Page 5 of 20

confirmation and verification process may be completed within the due date mentioned in Academic Calendar. Completion of Registration: After successful fee payment, students in person, must have to submit the above fee receipt (for online and DASA cases) (self attested) and duly verified by the Accounts Department of NIT Delhi at the office of their respective Head of the Departments, positively the due date mentioned in Academic Calendar/ general notification. Then the entire registration process will be considered to be completed without late fee. Otherwise it will be considered incomplete. Without submission of fee receipt the registration process will not be completed and student s name will not be appeared in the final registration list of respective departments. Registration with Late Fee: Dates for late fee payment are mentioned in the Academic Calendar. After due date mentioned in Academic Calendar, no registration process will be entertained under any circumstances. Important Note: If a student completes his/ her online registration process, even the fee payment, within the due date, but will submit his/ her fee receipt after the due date, even then, the registration process will be considered as registration with late fee. The office of all HoD s are requested to instruct their staffs to not to consider those student s registration until they deposit proper late fees in the accounts department. The late fee will be Rs. 500 per day basis. During online registration process, only technical query or technical problem may be resolved with posting email(s) at the following email address: erp@nitdelhi.ac.in Page 6 of 20

ANNEXURE I Student Registration Procedure in Detail Student Login: NIT Delhi Website: Click on Internet (Anywhere) or Intranet (Within NIT Delhi Campus). From the Login Options available, the student will click on the Student Login option. Page 7 of 20

Student Login: The Student will be prompted to provide the User ID and Password. Click on Login button to login. Page 8 of 20

Student Personal Data Information: Click on: Academic Info. Kindly contact ERP team through erp@nitdelhi.ac.in email address for any technical issue but not for the permission to proceed for registration. Page 10 of 20

Student Course Registration (Continued): Enrollment no., Semester Code, Name, Program, Branch, Section, Academic Year and Pre Registration for semester and Institute will be automatically displayed for the student who has logged in. First the form for backlog courses will appear where students are requested to fill up the courses properly depending on the promotion rule of NIT. The student can register from Back Paper List by checking the Choice check box. Mode will be enabled and the student can opt for Subject from the given option of Study Mode or Examination Mode. Once the student selects the Mode, the Back Paper Amount to be paid will be displayed for the selected course(s). After filling up back log courses (if any), click on the --> button to proceed for the registration of regular courses. Page 12 of 20

Student Course Registration (Continued): Max Limit for credit will be displayed automatically. The credit points for the selected subjects for registration should not exceed this limit. Maximum credit limit will be checked as follows: Max credit limit for pure Study Mode is 32 in old/new scheme. Max credit limit is 34 (in old Scheme), 35(in new scheme) if student opt at least one subject in Exam Mode. Click on the I Agree button. Page 13 of 20

Student Course Registration (Continued): Student can save his / her subject choice but the entire form cannot be printed at this stage. After saving the subject choice, student data will be available with respective HOD/ departmental committee for verification / approval. If HOD/ departmental committee approve the student course registration, then only he / she will be able to pay the fees either Online using Online Payment Gateway or Offline (through Demand Draft only) to the accounts department at NIT Delhi. Student Fee Payment: Students are allowed to pay their semester registration fee, including fee of backlog courses (if applicable) by either of the following two modes: On line (Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT Transaction etc.) Important Note for DASA Students: DASA student cannot pay their Tuition Fee through IMS (Payment Gateway). DASA students have to give Tuition Fee only in US Dollars ($) no other currency will be accepted. Use swift code to pay Tuition Fee in US Dollars ($). DASA students visit Accounts Section on Jan 02-03, 2017with valid proof of paid Tuition Fee. For more details see fee structure available in institute website. Page 15 of 20

Student Online Fee Payment: Click on: Academic Info. Click on: Online Fee Payment. Total fees i.e. Regular Fees + fees for backlog courses (if applicable)will be visible in student account. Important Note: If student found any discrepancy in Total fee, kindly contact to ERP Team through email id: erp@nitdelhi.ac.in before proceeding for fee payment Page 16 of 20

Student Online Fee Payment (Payment Gateway): The student will enter the OTP which will be sent by the bank on the registered mobile number. Click on Pay Now button for the completion of the payment. Page 18 of 20

Student Offline Fee Payment: If student wishes to pay fees offline then they are requested to follow the following steps: After completion of subject registration online, Students are requested to contact accounts department at NIT Delhi (Admin-I room). Students are requested to convey their enrollment number properly to the respective in- charge who will proceed for the proper fee submission. Students are requested to come to the institute with a proper demand draft prepared earlier depending on the number of courses they wish to register for and depending on the respective dues. On upon verification and submission of proper fee through accounts department, students will be provided with a receipt of their fee submission. Student Registration Report Generation: Snapshot 1: Page 19 of 20

Snapshot 2: Completion of Student Registration: After taking the printout of the online generated registration report(self attested) and fee receipt duly verified by the accounts department, students must have to submit the hard copy of the registration report and fee receipt at the office of respective Head of the Departments. After this step of the entire procedure, the registration will be considered complete and the students will be allowed to appear in their next semester classes.
