G.O.Ms.No.40, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:09/5/2017 ORDER: -:o0o:- The TS Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association has requested the Government for revision of Tuition Fee for MD / MS / Diploma / MDS Courses citing the actual costs involved in imparting quality education and escalations in costs due to implementation of sixth pay commission scales / increase in the University related fees and assessment of such costs in Deemed to be Universities. 2. In pursuance of the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 12-8-2005 in Appeal (civil) No. 5041 of 2005 filed by P.A. Inamdar Vs. State of Maharashtra (AIR 2005 SC 3226), and also discussions held with the Private Unaided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges in the State for the Post Graduate Courses i.e., MD / MS / Diploma / MDS, a consensual arrangement has been arrived, among others, in fixing the fee structure for the Competent Authority Seats, Management (Sub - Category - 1, 2 & 3) Seats in Un - Aided Non - Minority Medical / Dental Colleges in the State. 3. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby order that the fee structure and certain directions connected thereto as indicated in the annexure to this order shall be implemented by all the Private Un- Aided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges. These orders are applicable to the Private UnAided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Professional Institutions in the State, and shall come into force from the academic year 2017-18. 4. The Principals of all Private Unaided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly. 5. These orders are subject to directions/outcome of the court cases, pending if any, and as per the guidelines/directions issued by MCI/GOI from time to time. Tuition fee is payable annually. 2. There shall be 5% increment in tuition fee per year to offset inflation 3. The students who were admitted into the course prior to 2017 shall continue to pay every year the same annual fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the course. 4. The student shall pay the same tuition fee for the entire course period, as paid at the time of admission. 5. The Institution shall collect the tuition fee every year in advance only for that particular year. 6. The managements of the institution may seek Bank Guarantee for tuition fee chargeable for the entire course.
