This will give you an opportunity to explore two pathways and then select which one you would prefer to pursue towards the high school graduation and beyond. Arts & Humanities: This pathway includes a diverse selection of artistic and linguistic choices. Students who appreciate artistic endeavors will enjoy this pathway. It also makes an excellent Minor selection for those who enjoy the arts but do not seek to Major in these areas. Business & Industry: This pathway includes many hands-on and career-focused options. Students can easily build and master skills used in today s workforce and continue their education in college or trade school, or perhaps enter the workforce after high school. Public Services: Cosmetology is included in this pathway which offers students the opportunity to earn a cosmetology license during high school. Students can learn a valuable trade and have the ability to earn money while attending college due to the flexible hours offered in this industry. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math): STEM is hands-on applications of math and science with a focus on technology and/or engineering. It includes robotics, computer drafting, inventions, and experimentation. This is a college readiness career pathway. Allow high school students greater flexibility in choosing their courses while maintaining academic rigor.
