Exchange students can participate in the following programs: International Culture Program (ICP) a series of culture related courses that are exclusively taught in English. Included in the list of courses are Literature and Arts Introduction to Chinese Traditional Culture and Readings in Chinese and Western Art etc. The ICP courses are to be supplemented by credit bearing language courses in Chinese, which will provide student with a set of balanced curricula that include both culture and language. Chinese Language Courses: Non Mandarin spoken exchange students are eligible to take semester program up to 6 hours per week without charge in Mandarin Training Center. Regular Academic Programs at NTNU including undergraduate and graduate courses in all subjects (Please note that some courses with special requirements are upon lecturer s permission). Mandarin Training Center Semester Program Category C : Mandarin Training Center (Semester Program). Course Description: Only counts for learning hours, not credits. Registration and class dates will be announced. Can take group classes up to 6 hours semester program per week without charge. Apart from semester program, you will need to pay but get a 20% discount. Requirements: Optional Course Feature: Under the instruction of professional Mandarin Chinese teachers. Each class of 8~15 students will meet twice per week. Class levers range from beginner to Intermediate. A placement test is required. Class Time 14:20~17:10 Two classes per week.
