total points you earned total possible points GRADES: Grades are determined from the total points that a student has earned divided by the total points possible. Quizzes are generally 20, 25 or 30 points. Tests are generally 50 points. Homework is given each night. It is checked daily for completion. Once a week I give a homework quiz which is based on the homework problems that we went over in class. This way I am measuring their comprehension and not just their completion. 4
